the map is just the second level of the dungeon, don't see why we need another. Should we, feel free to lecture me;) Heinrich 13:13, 15 October 2007 (UTC)

It's just like the other bosses in the game under a Guild Wiki article, it shows the location of the boss.--Rella 07:18, 19 January 2008 (UTC)

Regen anomaly[edit]

AFAIK, this guy does not have the boss health regeneration ability. In this respect, he's just like the other boss-like foes at the bottom of the dungeons, so there is no anomaly. However, he will heal damage over time if left alone, like everyone in the game. -- Hong 01:09, 16 January 2008 (UTC)

This boss now has health regeneration. Strong regen too. -Lucci Slevin

Is this[edit]

a boss or a boss-like foe? It says boss at the top of the page, yet it is in the boss-like category.. WhyUser talk:Why Are We Fighting 19:30, 28 January 2009 (UTC)

Diamondshard Mist?[edit]

Will it work even is anti-spell things are used like shad form or spell breaker? --Sam6555 20:41, 24 May 2009 (UTC)

I guess so, as it is a sort of Ward or PBAoE. WhyUser talk:Why Are We Fighting 22:33, 24 May 2009 (UTC)

Daze[edit]

He is imune to daze. A friend pointed to me how GuildWiki states so and I didn't believe it, so I went there myself to test it. I went to melee range of the boss and used Broad Head Arrow; not only the boss was not interrupted when spellcasting (despite how there were two warriors and one ranger on my team), but also he did not even get the brown arrow in his health bar showing he was under a condition. The other bosses in the same dungeon, though, the many Regents of Ice, were both interrupted rather often (despite having, like any other HM boss, greatly increased casting speed) and also had the visual effect of being dazed. I was wondering what type of damage this boss and its lower lvl non boss foes deal. it states on wiki that the non boss type foe of this boss des NOT deal cold damage but doesnt state what type of damage it accualy does deal........ ;_(

super-cast anomoly?[edit]

my boyfriend and i went to make a run through there, and noticed when we got to the boss that his dmg seems like 3 or 4x listed skill amount (instead of normal 2x like all bosses) as well as hitting multiple areas with a single spell (like party-wide shatterstone, or casting 6 mists at the SAME TIME. i call boss-hacks. anybody else know this? devs, did you do something to mess him up??? ~~ User Kiomadoushi sig.png Kiomadoushi 04:56, 24 March 2011 (UTC)

Level has an effect on skill damage. Are you sure your party didn't get hit with one of his two AoE hexes? I would guess the multiple mists to be lag. Manifold User Manifold Neptune.jpg 15:12, 24 March 2011 (UTC)
well the lvl 29 or whatever makes sense of the increased dmg, which explains that (though he still had critical casts or the likes, where his dmg was GREATLY higher, like jumping from 242 dmg to 336 on the same spell), and he even killed me a couple times ONLY with the end of a diamondshard grave (140 dmg, with ~250 hp) but i'm SURE it wasn't lag... both of us experienced him multi-casting MULTIPLE times, and yes i'm sure it wasn't the area effects - with only him alive, we both got hit with a single cast of shatterstone, as well as at that same exact time, before he activated another skill, all or most of our heroes died too... as for the multiple mists, he was putting up like 3 or 4 usually at a time (2 or 3 around himself, then an additional few over the bridge, then like another in the area in front of him) and sometimes even as many as 5 or 6, which mostly happened after one of our Mesmers used diversion to disable him... which usually meant he had the ENTIRE area around him covered in wards, at least 10 (or more) up at a time... even with boss status, he should only be able to cast one every 2 1/2 seconds, not 5+ every one second
and i don't know if this relates to him being a boss, but his diamondshard mist that's supposed to last for 10 seconds before causing diamondshard grave only lasts 5 seconds - we both measured with skill cooldowns... ~~ User Kiomadoushi sig.png Kiomadoushi 22:08, 24 March 2011 (UTC)

Diversion tip correct?[edit]

I thought Diversion didn't work on most monster especially boss skills? If Diversion has started working on boss skills I'll be carrying it around more in PvE :) 60.50.243.215 17:50, 27 November 2011 (UTC)

I don't see any mention on Diversion that it won't affect bosses or monster skills. However, since it's a hex, it would expire faster on foes with Natural Resistance (e.g. bosses in Proph/EotN). In any case, RoA isn't a boss, it's a boss-like foe. – Tennessee Ernie Ford (TEF) 18:33, 28 November 2011 (UTC)
Diversion also works on gelatinous absorption. File:User Chieftain Alex Chieftain Signature.pngChieftain Alex 20:06, 28 November 2011 (UTC)
Good point. Diversion appears to be a generally recommended skill for a lot of the end-dungeon fights. I just noticed it for Arachni (among others). – Tennessee Ernie Ford (TEF) 20:42, 28 November 2011 (UTC)
