exploited corpses?[edit]
Are they resurrectable or can you stop your enemies coming back that way. -DeeAbel 03:39, 20 August 2009 (UTC)
- Yes, you can resurrect someone if their corpse has been exploited. --Aldarik 04:09, 20 August 2009 (UTC)
bug note[edit]
How can you even try to resurrect someone who "died due to resignation?" Residnation only causes the entire team to die if everyone resigned, thus nobody can target you with resurrection skills anyway. This may have been mistaken for ressing a 1HP character (a 55HP with death penalty), which is impossible with res skills that give less than 50%HP on res, because it rounds down to 0HP on res. Rose Of Kali 05:19, 24 January 2010 (UTC)
- A Restoration can resurrect the party who died by resignation (I think) –alistic 05:23, 24 January 2010 (UTC)
- The note talks about "targeted" and Sunspear Rebirth Signet, though. I'll go test Restoration to get that out of the way. Rose Of Kali 15:26, 24 January 2010 (UTC)
- Restoration dies and the resigned party stays dead, as expected. Rose Of Kali 15:34, 24 January 2010 (UTC)
- I thought the bug was with someone maintaining Unyielding Aura. -~=Ϛρѧякγ (τѧιк) 15:44, 24 January 2010 (UTC)
- And how would that matter if the whole party is dead? Or does UA "try" to res someone as everyone is wiping on resignation? If so, then the bug note should be reworded for UA only, currently it doesn't make any sense. I'll go test UA now. Rose Of Kali 15:51, 24 January 2010 (UTC)
- Yeah, supposedly it ends and resurrects someone (or it just moves their body to the caster). I've never actually seen this done, though. -~=Ϛρѧякγ (τѧιк) 15:53, 24 January 2010 (UTC)
- Nope, nothing out of the ordinary happened while resigning with UA on. Heroes died at their flag in my aggro bubble, nobody was teleported. Rose Of Kali 15:55, 24 January 2010 (UTC)
- I just tested it. No resurrection, but it did move my body onto Dunkoro. -~=Ϛρѧякγ (τѧιк) 16:08, 24 January 2010 (UTC)
- Hmm, interesting. When I was the one with UA and flagged heroes a few steps away, UA didn't teleport them. But when a hero had UA, I was teleported to him when resigning. Still, this has nothing to do with the bug note on this page, and isn't even a bug, it's expected behavior, and should be as a note on UA page instead. Rose Of Kali 16:15, 24 January 2010 (UTC)
- Agreed. On topic, I still have no idea how they would be able to resurrect when your team has resigned. The only way I can think of is a Resurrection Orb in somewhere like Unwaking Waters (it probably still doesn't res the other team), but that still has nothing to do with the note. -~=Ϛρѧякγ (τѧιк) 16:22, 24 January 2010 (UTC)

- If something has multiple teams, do all teams need to resign for it to work?
- Really? I've just spawned dead whenever that happens. -~=Ϛρѧякγ (τѧιк) 16:34, 31 May 2010 (UTC)
- your name must be grayed out and your prof combination unknown otherwise its too alte allready 127.0.0.1 17:36, 31 May 2010 (UTC)
Why is this a bug? Why would you expect to res a player that has resigned? If this is because the players look dead and the other players don't receive any notice that they resigned, then that is the bug, not failing to res them. Hold Me Closer, Necromancer 09:23, 17 September 2011 (UTC)
Can Foes' Rez Signets get recharged?[edit]
The increased presence of foes carrying rez signets leads me to wonder. Although players don't get extra XP from killing resurrected foes, we know, from death-levelling that the reverse isn't true. Also, foes get boss-rated experience (that is double-XP) when they kill a player. So when that happens, will they get a morale bonus, or at least, get their rez signets recharged at the same time? Kirbett 16:02, 31 May 2010 (UTC)
- I don't think their sigs recharge when they manage to kill your party member. However, I do think their res sigs recharge when you kill a boss, even if it's allied with them, similar to how you can cap the Veldrunner Centaur (boss) that joins you as an ally in Kodonur Crossroads -- you can cap the elite if he gets killed, even though he's your ally, and you get a morale boost from his death. :P So, basically, a boss death recharges all skills and gives a morale boost to all creatures in range, both allied and hostile. Lore[edit]
Does anyone know any lore behind this? They'll say "Dhuum banned resurrections", so they acknowledge it lore-wise, but then tons of dudes die and don't come back? Suspension of disbelief, artistic license etc. but I'm hoping someone knows. Vael Victus 03:14, 8 November 2010 (UTC)
