Is "just like dog" a half-life reference? you know, to alyx vance's robot :o

It's actually Oola's Lab... a section of it, at least. If you check the map, it even shows you being parked right where Oola's Lab is. --User Jioruji Derako logo.png Jïörüjï Ðērākō.>.cнаt^ 09:33, 5 September 2008 (UTC)

Well, you didn't really think they'd make a new terrain block, no? Backsword 09:34, 5 September 2008 (UTC)
I was half-expecting it at least to be in a different part of the map, is all. --User Jioruji Derako logo.png Jïörüjï Ðērākō.>.cнаt^ 09:55, 5 September 2008 (UTC)
Great job on cleaning up the pics & text i added. "it even shows you being parked right where Oola's Lab is." Hehe I saw that... -- RavenJWolfe Talk 13:36, 5 September 2008 (UTC)
You'd think they would have gotten rid of the iron forgemen at least. I mean, unless zinn does make them, then Anet was being lazy. ;) --Ezekial Riddle 05:21, 7 September 2008 (UTC)
The last game update prevented people from gaining points towards the EotN title in here... I'm guessing that was because it counted as exploring Oola's Lab. I wonder how they fixed it; perhaps if you check the map now, it won't show you as being in Oola's Lab? --User Jioruji Derako logo.png Jïörüjï Ðērākō.>.cнаt^ 04:37, 12 September 2008 (UTC)
Hmm, scratch that actually. They fixed it so you couldn't get extra points from the Tutorial, not the Lab. --User Jioruji Derako logo.png Jïörüjï Ðērākō.>.cнаt^ 02:00, 13 September 2008 (UTC)

Forgotten Fan[edit]

Strange.. we were 3 human players doing this, and we each have been dropped with a Forgotten Fan green from the wind riders...

Energy +12 (req 9 ill magic) Health +30 Armor +5 Energy -5

is this happening to all as a reward? --pixy 22:54, 5 September 2008 (UTC)

I think you were probably just very lucky. The Forgotten Fan has been around for quite some time ^^ LunarEffectUser LunarEffect Moon.png 23:01, 5 September 2008 (UTC)
wow then a stroke of luck then. each one of us had one drop... =) --pixy 13:51, 6 September 2008 (UTC)
Hah, something similar happened to me: got a Totem Axe for the first time ever, despite I've vanquished the area twice and cartographed the whole area once. Must be our lucky day :) --Arduinna talk 15:25, 8 September 2008 (UTC)
I'm not sure if it's just coincidental, but there seems to be, oh, 50% more root behemoths than before (from my times of farming them for totem axes). Given the number, it's not surprising that there's a decent chance of a totem axe drop. SpikeTheFluffy 04:55, 10 September 2008 (UTC)
I'm inclined to believe it's just because there's more human players going through the area now, it's dropping more often. I mean, normally, the only farming in there is solo farming, which doesn't have a huge drop rate (only being a single player). But now, full groups actually have a reason to go through the area, and perhaps it's as simple as the increased party size that's making the greens show up more often.
I wonder if duo-farming in there would get more drops. One player solo-farms the Behemoths, another solo farms the Wind Riders... probably not very profitable, but it might still be reliable. --User Jioruji Derako logo.png Jïörüjï Ðērākō.>.cнаt^ 07:35, 10 September 2008 (UTC)

Location?[edit]

How did you figure out the Lair was in the Falls without looking at Wiki? Lucky guess? I'm terrible at riddles, and I didn't understand the clue in the Manual...I guess I'm pretty stupid/slow Swordfish56 15:39, 11 September 2008 (UTC)

Stop when it hurts->it hurts when it stops->A fall->The Falls. Backsword 15:40, 11 September 2008 (UTC)
Because the "Lair" page in the Golem Manual actually shows a very recognizable picture of the Falls.58.5.245.251 03:59, 12 September 2008 (UTC)Aliabastre

Runnable[edit]

If you have Mox in your party, that is enough, he does not have to be near you or even alive, run to your hearts content. Just make sure, if you have more than one human player, that the runner has MOX in his party or you cant enter.

Trivia -- Secret Underground Lair[edit]

Would the name be a (pretty obvious) reference to Dr. Evil's Secret Underground Lair from Austin Powers 1? Or was that a reference to something older, from the 70's? (worth putting in trivia?) 70.29.17.155 04:30, 17 February 2011 (UTC)

It doesn't seem all that noteworthy, given secret underground bases are a staple in spy fiction, like James Bond. Austin Powers would have an explicit name like that, since it's a parody of such works. The name here is more for player and in-game map identification. And the whole "Zinn is a mastermind" is well covered by the Zim references. -Yossitaru 05:41, 17 February 2011 (UTC)
