OOh scary bleeding. Raptaz 13:59, 6 December 2007 (UTC)

its a cheap way to inflict bleeding and deep wound, so its not that bad.--68.35.88.45 03:16, 6 February 2008 (UTC)

ignoreing the fact that raptors is a moronic vandal.....i think barbarous slice has better value over this, providing you arent using stances--User Raph Sig.pngRaph Talky 23:09, 10 April 2008 (UTC)

"

5 Energy0 Activation time5 Recharge time, 'I Recommend Barbarous Slice!', Elite Shout, 'You gain +10 n00b points and all Warriors with decent builds in earshot die' (Attribute: Utter Foolishness)". On a seperate note, I think they should drop the adrenal cost on this to 2 strikes or grant it +20 damage, since it's pants on its own and more liberal spreading of bleeding would make it better. It does need something to make it viable. The current Barbarous Slice is fucking terrible, because swords haven't been meta for, like, ever if you're not constantly stanced as a Warrior, especially during your spike (pve version), you're doing something very wrong. The only builds that sort of vaguely redeem Barbarous Slice are RaO and Soldier's Fury gimmicky bullshit builds which no one would ever use for srs PvP.
Of course, what cripples swords is that they can't give reliable DW without a Bleeding precondition, so you're stuck with Sever or Barbarous if you aren't using Crippling Slash. Sever is sad because it gives no bonus damage, but neither does Cripslash, and who cares about Cripple in most PvE? Vili 点 User talk:Vili 05:46, 10 August 2009 (UTC)

Extra dmg?[edit]

I have noticed a slight increase of damage caused when I use this skill. Was this intentional but they forgot to add that on the information, or was this a bug or something? Eryops3 17:57, 2 June 2009 (UTC)

That's due to the armour penetration caused by the strength attribute.(marsc 18:00, 2 June 2009 (UTC))
Or critical hit? -User Mikkelet Eme.jpgMikkelet 16:22, 1 December 2009 (UTC)
Certainly one of those two, if not both. Andran Steel 07:06, 22 April 2011 (UTC)
High strength ratings still only give you +2 to 4 damage because of the armor penetration with swords. ~Shard User Shard Sig Icon.png 02:49, 23 April 2011 (UTC)
