Farming[edit]

A good place to farm Shadowy Remnants is Talmark Wilderness. Enter from The Black Curtain or Tears of the Fallen and move towards the other exit. Stay in the green grassy areas and range left and right to trigger all the Fog Nightmare popups. When you reach the opposite exit zone out and back to reset the foes. Stay away from the sandy areas because they're full of Bog Scales And have few/no Fog Nightmares. You'll have to deal with Ancient Oakhearts along the way. Be prepared to deal with a few large mobs of Forest Minotaurs in the south. If your inventory gets full, run to the southwest area of Talmark and find Artisan Sivan, who'll merch your stuff.

Alternate farm Leave Temple of Ages kill or avoid the first group of Reed Stalkers. Head towards the Damned Cleric to the south and kill it or stay against the wall on its south side near it there is a Wraith and two Smoke Phantoms and continue east. There is a couple of Necrid Horseman with Skeletal Hounds that patrol that path. Head south towards the Ancient Oakheart and continue east up that path towards Cursed Lands. The entire middle section is is all Fog Nightmares (incuding one boss). The groups are a mix of fixed spawn points, pop-ups and patrols. The only other foes once in the section with the Fog Nightmares are a couple of the Spined Aloes. The short northbound section before cursed lands also has a cleric with wraith and smoke phantom pop-up and the necrid patrols. ToA to Cursed and zone there and head back is usually ~15 Shadowy Remnants and half a stack to a stack of Glittering dust depending on drops. Dust drops are usually 22-34 dust each drop and the drop rate for remnants is good. Condition removal to deal with the poison from the swamp helps. (feel free to try it and fix the wording if u want to add it to the main page)Durp da durp 22:59, 9 April 2013 (UTC)

[edit]Ooooh gwpvx. Thats where i find discordway right? Not everyone uses gwpvx and honestly i wandered thru them at first farming bones and got bored. Killed the tengu too, and cows, and the couple dragons and all the skellys. I get bored a lot. Having the route at both might be helpful. I wasn't on an ele, i used my rit with a build that i've used for ascalon to LA to ToA to Sanctum Cay (in one long farm). On another note if the farm and a (similar)build has been around for over half as long as GW is old (honestly since around proph release) why was it never mentioned as a farming location here? It's a much more effective farm for these than Talmark is. Sure that builds main focus is dust but it is farming the remnants as well as the dust drops. Other suggested farms include a link to pvx so why not this?Durp da durp 15:00, 10 April 2013 (UTC)
