Wth with this place? tried to VQ it and when i got to Necromancer's Construct suddenley lots of shir'ken spawn out of nowhere and joined the boss group. now is it logical to anyone to kill a giant group of about 12 that includes 2 monks (which shoot crazy leaser beams out of the sky), 3 eles, a boss (which pwn down your monks with SB) and others? This are does suck to vanquish. I started Factions off with it, hoping to get the hardest done first.. and ended up giving up after 3 or 4 trys, and now it the only Kaineng City area I have left to do..Sloh Em Oshun 21:14, 29 May 2009 (UTC)
I am having similar issues. I can get very close with Minion Bombers in my team, but I keep failing because you get teams with dual-rits, dual or triple monks, or dual-rits AND a monk, all in the center section with all of the constructs. Also, it's quite ridiculous with the travel patterns and aggro range of these center groups - they are all bunched together so you can't pull just one group. You hit one, and every last one of them comes out and you have an instant party wipe. The Warrior Construct is just beyond ridiculous - it runs up to your group and spams Hundred Blades. Everyone dies in one or two hits of that, and blind doesn't seem to affect his ability to hit. This area needs looked at ASAP.-thejynxed- 14:30, 29 August 2009 (UTC)
I vanquished this area 1-2 months ago with no particular problems. Blind doesn't completely work on Hundred blades because the second and extra hit is garanty (even block, dogde, miss doesn't work). M3G 09:08, 31 August 2009 (UTC)
I found vanquishing fairly easy. With careful pulling the groups around the constructs were easy to take out. Even when two groups were pulled at once, the monks smite (RoJ) and heal so theyre really not that much trouble. As long as you take out healers and rits (necro's also if you mm) the groups fall quickly. Groups around Warrior Constuct seemed to have a fairly large aggro range and wiped my team the first time I attacked. After that with flagging back and pulling it was no harder that any of the other constructs. The decline 10:50, 8 January 2010 (UTC)
Lots of small dmg hits like Hundred Blades just means instant dead becaue of Pain Inverter. Same with the Monks casting RoJ on your minions.86.87.127.239 09:14, 14 May 2010 (UTC)
I found the whole area just fine except the Necro construct, the group is massive and I couldn't manage to pull them separately, due to all the Rits using Flesh of my Flesh I couldn't seem to make any dent in the group or wear them down between wipes at all. Never had this much trouble in all Elona and all Cantha. Lyra ValoUser Lyra Valo Sig.jpg 22:59, 28 May 2010 (UTC)
Update: the try after I posted that I managed to pull the group into 3 easily killable groups. Lyra ValoUser Lyra Valo Sig.jpg 23:04, 28 May 2010 (UTC)

With a 7 hero party it is not too bad. Take in sabway and 2 roj monks and a hb healer then I am a burner ele and it works pretty fast216.113.168.136 23:31, 9 March 2011 (UTC)mandrin the quiet Mar 9 2011

Dragon[edit]

Anyone else notice the dragon head by the Elementalal's construct? Creppy...--151.200.30.197 00:03, 15 March 2010 (UTC)

Funnily enough, yes: I did :)--File:User Chieftain Alex Chieftain Signature.pngChieftain Alex 00:49, 10 March 2011 (UTC)
Added a trivia on it but not sure how to add an image of it to this page--been a while. Any relation to GW 2? Yumiko ^,~ 17:47, 29 April 2011 (UTC)

vanqing[edit]

210 foes, 56min, vanq/map. Bring a caster shutdown. Certainly for the rits & monks. They make terrible healers but with enough of them they delay you long enough for another mob to accidently get pulled into the fight or just simply giving a boss time to destroy your team. They melee here can spike you down pretty fast and with soul explosion you still loose if you kill them. Nothing specific is need to counter them but a simple aoe weakness or blind/blocking wouldnt hurt. Personal note: lost 600k into my survivor here. Its a deadly zone but dont be afraid as afflicted are softies armor/health/healing wise. Justice 05:07, 2 May 2011 (UTC)

Vanquisher runs of this area without active quests requires defeating around 205 foes. Including quest influences, it has been reported to range from 196 to 210. (The kill count is substantially reduced after Cleansing the Sunjiang District.)
The above statement with regards to Sunjiang District Cleansing affecting kill count doesn't seem to be accurate and should be reviewed. I went and completed cleansing sunjiang prior to attempting a vanquish. I then vanquished the zone with 195 kills. For reference: there were no afflicted - all foes were am fah or shiroken/constructs
OK I just vq'ed this map and got 195 kills too http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c74/rherton/gw471.jpg Rherton 05:29, 30 August 2011 (UTC)

~ 205 foes. ~ 55 minutes. I missed the Elementalist Construct and had to make a run back for it. Other than the 100 Blades Warrior Construct it was a fairly easy vanquish. The Warrior Construct is surrounded by afflicted 3-4 mobs of afflicted. Try to cull the smaller groups before engaging and have some sort of skill like Pain Inverter to help deal with him. Unchecked he'll cause plenty of havoc in your group -- pretty dangerous melee boss that can easily wipe an unprepared party. --LunarRXA (talk) 22:42, 15 May 2018 (UTC)

209 foes for me. Took over an hour but this is because I forgot Elementalist and wandered around for a while. Probably the hardest vanquish in Factions for me just due to the density and groups overlapping. I used a standard 7 Hero Offensive Mesmerway team but next time I'll definitely bring more caster shutdown and lose the MM. Mdbauman (talk)

Turtle Shell[edit]

This is more trivia than anything else. I noticed a couple of weeks back when Nick was in the area. The 'small hill' in the water where the Monk Construct lurks is in reality a large seige turtle shell. It is not something important but it is interesting. 68.91.25.90 13:30, 13 May 2011 (UTC)EdStargazer

That's pretty cool! All the times I've clawed my way through here, I never paid attention to the mound. It's these little things that give me appreciation for the work of the devs. 76.164.71.104 14:31, 13 May 2011 (UTC)
