Shortest Path Discussion[edit]

I'm not convinced that the shortest path is from Augury Rock. I believe the shortest route is to exit Hero's Audience and follow the map edge by staying left until in the river bed area, after which it is a walk through the river bed area to the misplaced sword. Any thoughts on if the Walk through area should be updated with this alternate path? --GuildWarsWikiUser 07:19, 19 February 2008 (UTC)

Do the river bed areas actually join up? I've not ventured into the desert for a while, but I thought there was block at the teleporter nearest to Amnoon Oasis... To some extent there may also be the question of convenience- a simply running build can get you from Augry Rock to the object quite easily despite the spawns. Is the same true of running from Hero's Audience? Might check this one tonight :) --BramStoker (talk, contribs) 13:06, 18 February 2008 (UTC)
Followup: they do join up, so I've followed and screen-shotted the route, looks a little longer to me, but it's a perfectly viable alternative. --BramStoker (talk, contribs) 21:00, 18 February 2008 (UTC)

Thank you for the follow up. I can see from the picture you uploaded that it is a bit longer, but I find it to be less populated with enemies. I appreciate you taking a look at it. --GuildWarsWikiUser 07:19, 19 February 2008 (UTC)

Prophecies Only[edit]

It seems odd that this skill quest is for prophecy characters only when it is so late in the campaign and all the skill quests in the last couple regions before the desert are available to characters from all campaigns. I see it is proceeded by an attribute point quest but it doesn't seem to be related to said quest in any way story wise. Sigil Baram talk 02:03, 22 December 2009 (UTC)

It's weird for me too. I think it should be noted as an anomaly. MithUser MithranArkanere Star.pngTalk 12:17, 4 November 2010 (UTC)
Likely because the quest was "invented" when Prophecies was the only campaign. Making it a part of a quest arch involving an attribute quest had no side effects back then. Apart from that, I agree with sticking an anomaly note on it. --Manassas User Manassas Mannysig.png 13:21, 4 November 2010 (UTC)
