Usage[edit]

Maybe people will now use it at zero air magic together with Aftershock? --Longasc 09:42, 8 February 2008 (UTC)

Use on your monk instead of grasping earth = win ;D --74.61.209.219 19:32, 11 February 2008 (UTC)

Good With Sword[edit]

Since Sword has 0 AoEs except Hundred Blades (which is worse than Cyclone Axe due to its cooldown time), this came take some pressure off of the sword warrior thanks to the knockdown (when being swarmed of course, or if you simply want to knock something down).

Yeah its a great skill on a warrior simply cause they are the tank and they can use a stonefist insignia for a 3sec KD. Honestly its a superior skill to earthshaker for any W/ele as its a 1sec activation, cheap 5e cost and decent recharge. Oh and its the adjacent range and not the smaller adjacent to foe range.--Justice 09:00, 24 September 2008 (UTC)

Sooooooooo......what do you do if you're trying to knock down some people that aren't attacking? I think there are some professions that exist that gets things done by not C-spacing around the place, I think they're called 'casters' or something. Might be a myth though b.r // talk 12:39, 7 December 2008 (UTC)

How come I never see other people use this on linebackers, or just as a defensive skill on people who already have ele in their build? An AoE knockdown every 8 seconds for only 5e and no exhaustion seems pretty strong for disrupting attackers. Necromas 05:06, 8 August 2009 (UTC)

You know what else is great with a sword (specifically hamstring). Firestorm! Yay Killing Charr talk 20:55, 14 June 2010 (UTC)
Hundred Blades is better than Cyclone Axe nowadays, since it got buffed (and in PvE makes sword warriors into nukers with a different Whirlwind). -~=Ϛρѧякγ User Sparky, the Tainted guided sig.png (τѧιк) 21:22, 14 June 2010 (UTC)

Needs A PvP Buff[edit]

Since this skill is intended to be used defensively, it makes sense that using this skill should cast instantly and cannot be knocked down while using it. Also since Anet has been nerfing down the more offensive skills and gearing people to use more defensive skills, it makes sense that this skill could use a buff. There's really no way people can "misuse" this as Anet likes to call it since its geared to defense rather than offense there really isn't a way you could misuse it in PvP or PvE with the buff. So why not?

So you want to not be knocked down during the INSTANT this skill activates? Smart.

Related?[edit]

Isn't this skill related to bane signet? --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 93.136.19.106 (talk) at 13:36, 9 January 2012 (UTC).
