Really?[edit]

"Don the garb of the enemy! Disguise yourself as an agent of the Unseen Ones..."

I thought the point of the costume was to show your support for the Mantle? Not "Disguise yourself." Lame :s --Bloodvayne 01:10, 16 April 2010 (UTC)

"Strike a blow for freedom! Take up the cause of the Krytan rebels..."
Considering the above is the one for the Shining Blade get-up, you make a valid point. --Shadow of Dispair 05:04, 16 April 2010 (UTC)
Well I was hoping to get the white mantle armor... -99.204.51.55 07:26, 16 April 2010 (UTC)
Everybody that thinks this thing through a bit knows that the Mantle are probably going to lose the war. This in order to get queen what's-her-face on the throne and to get rid of the heretic, religious dictatorship. In the storyline, you join the Shining Blade after betraying the Mantle. Heck, you even kill the Mantle. Hence a disguise, to infiltrate the Mantle. BlazeRick 07:38, 16 April 2010 (UTC)
if you waer this costume and walk into Talkmark Wilderness, the shining blade camp is abandoned. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by 213.164.210.114 (talk).
^ That is false. And to Bloodvayne: We (the heroes) are fighting alongside the Shining Blade. Always have. We can't pick a side. Therefore, we are disguising as the enemy, from a SB infiltration viewpoint. -- Arduin talk 11:53, 16 April 2010 (UTC)
These are terrible disguises since the Peacekeepers still kick your ass even if you're wearing these --Vylen 11:55, 16 April 2010 (UTC)
To Arduin: Not to get to RP on this, but yes, we fight the Mantle thru until the end of Prophecies. But at the end of Prophecies we are decieved by The Lich, and then never interact with the Mantle again. Who's to say that my character didn't realize that the Mantle were actually the good guys, trying to keep the Door of Komalie closed? AND what if my character realized that the actual Gods abandoned humanity long ago, and realize that the "Unseen Ones" are a much better God?
There is nothing in the game to say that our character is still against the Mantle by the end of Prophecies, until now, during an event where you'd think we'd get to choose.--72.71.103.106 13:52, 16 April 2010 (UTC)
There are lots of times we interact with the White Mantle after Prophecies. With Hayda we try to make peace between SB and WM, only to get ambushed by the WM. We steal the Grimoire Arcanum from the WM and we meet the aspect of Lazarus the Dire, to name a few. -- Arduin talk 14:12, 16 April 2010 (UTC)

The White Mantle Robes resemble the robes worn by Confessor Dorian.[edit]

How, i'd like to ask. - J.P.User J.P. sigicon.pngTalk 16:03, 16 April 2010 (UTC)

I agree. Looks nothing like it. Silly people with their silly Trivia fillers. BlazeRick 19:28, 16 April 2010 (UTC)
Er... Dorian the guy with the black robes right, in such case download texmod add the redd stripes onto the robes dyed black and you look like him108.10.22.13 19:57, 20 December 2010 (UTC)

White Mantle Disguise[edit]

Shouldn't the information be located at that page? -- Arduin talk 21:30, 16 April 2010 (UTC)

The Costume makers refer to the set as "White Mantle Disguise", yep. Since this article is about the set as a whole, that's where this article should be. White Mantle Robes is only the name of the body costume. 198.160.96.7 16:10, 21 April 2010 (UTC)
I've moved the page back to White Mantle Disguise from White Mantle Robes. --Silver Edge 05:04, 2 October 2014 (UTC)
