Template talk:Festive items nav

Getting too big, and with many more tonics as the year goes on... I think we need to get rid of the everlastings. No other nav has items with 0 points, and most consumables give zero, but we don't list them. Backsword 09:37, 5 September 2008 (UTC)

I agree, the everlasting tonics doesn't really fit in here. If they really need to be on a navbar, we should make a tonic nav. - anja talk 09:40, 5 September 2008 (UTC)
I agree, tis hardly festive if it doesn't give festive points. --LemmingUser Lemming64 sigicon.png 19:09, 5 September 2008 (UTC)
I'd also have to agree with removing the 0 point items. As to making a tonic nav, wouldn't that be almost as big since there are only 7 non-tonic items in this nav? --Kakarot Talk 19:19, 5 September 2008 (UTC)
We could remove icons and not say "everlasting". Not that I really think it's needed, and this is totally the wrong page. :P - anja talk 19:34, 5 September 2008 (UTC)
What do ya think? {{Tonics nav}} --LemmingUser Lemming64 sigicon.png 20:00, 5 September 2008 (UTC)
Looks good to me. WOuld it be possible to line up regulars with their everlasting counterpart? Backsword 14:20, 11 September 2008 (UTC)
I expect so, no idea how though. :p --LemmingUser Lemming64 sigicon.png 15:37, 13 September 2008 (UTC)
As all tonics are now double-tagged with the festive items and tonics nav now, do you think we should remove the tonic list from this nav and just leave something like "Any regular tonic"? (Could possibly look a bit strange between the direct links with icon of the according items, but it doesn't look that bad in my preview window)ZerphatalkThe Improver 09:32, 20 September 2008 (UTC)
I don't think it looks too bad having two templates on a page, I mean on wikipedia some articles have 4-5 nav templates on. --LemmingUser Lemming64 sigicon.png 11:07, 20 September 2008 (UTC)

Wrapping[edit]

The 2 point line has so many items now, but doesn't wrap to fit the browser window, which makes this nav look pretty ugly with needless sideways scrolling. Can the row be made to wrap properly? --BramStoker (talk, contribs) 23:58, 6 May 2009 (UTC)

Wraps fine for me. Which browser are you using? WhyUser talk:Why Are We Fighting 17:15, 7 May 2009 (UTC)
<grinds teeth> IE8 :P None of the rows on the table wrap (or on the other navs, I've noticed), even with maximised window at 1600x1200 resoluition, this nav has be scrolling sideways almost a full screen to view the whole table. hohum. --BramStoker (talk, contribs) 18:39, 7 May 2009 (UTC)
Way strange, I just opened it in IE8 and it seems perfectly normal for me... try downloading the latest version? What does it look like in other browsers? WhyUser talk:Why Are We Fighting 19:02, 7 May 2009 (UTC)
So this still doesn't wrap and looks absolutely awful. Can this be fixed somehow? I use Vista, IE8. It wraps just fine in FireFox. User Rose Of Kali SIG.jpgRose Of Kali 09:55, 10 March 2010 (UTC)

Text alignment[edit]

I think the nav should be left-aligned so it's easier to distinguish each points row and make the nav easier to read. I don't particularly like text starting on different margins. This would also keep white space to one side instead of both. -- pling User Pling sig.png 17:05, 29 August 2010 (UTC)
