General
Doc's original given name is Manachan (MAN uch an), a Gaelic name meaning "a monk". After Manachan completed his training at Ashford Abbey, Gil began yelling "Heal me Doc" whenever the family would practice together. This led to the nickname "Doc". Doc is the youngest brother of Gar and Gil and the fraternal twin of Morrigan. Doc is often accompanied by his pet stalker Onchu, whose name means "mighty dog". (OOC - A friend suggested the name "Doctor" instead of Manachan. Since Doctor requires little explanation on a monk, I went with the suggestion.)
