Last sunday, I was bored, so I decided to try some free MMO. I do not need to say it was a shitty one, because they all are. Between the long list of Runescape upgrades I saw one that could have some redeeming value. It was called... Florensia.

NO. Florensia is your typical korean grindfest. Three quarters of all the quests you get are of the category "kill X mobs of this type" or "get X pieces of this item" (which is practically the same thing). There are other kinds of quests, though they are small in number. I have just described all of Florensia's content.

The game has 3 classes, all of which branch into 2 skill lines, but those branches come at 40th level so you will never see them. There are the Explorer, Mercenary, Noble, and Saint. What? Did I say 3? Well, it is a shitty MMO, so it cannot be balanced, of course!

The game is full of bugs, most of which happen because the game has a very poor synchronisation system. In GW, you can sometimes rubberband if your ping is very low. In Florensia, rubberbanding happens very often because the game does not synchronise often enough. Very weird bugs spawn out of that, such as mobs running in circles at a speed of mach 3, dying with a quarter of your health left, and being unable to heal someone because the game thinks the guy you want to heal is already dead.

I have to say, it is a bit different from most korean MMO's. You can set sail and have total freedom on the sea. Problem is, your land and sea levels are not the same, and it is just more of the same, like artificially lengthening the game. Yea, this game has the nerve to let you grind twice as much. What a dick move. And it is not that there is much to see on the little islands that litter the ocean anyway, for they have no content anyway.

Well, time to uninstall. What a piece of shit that was.
