- Gabriel lost his beloved family during the searing.
- During the searing he saw his own daughter getting smashed by a huge crystal and his wive being burned away in front of his eyes.
- The once enthousiastic Gabriel became an ice-cold killer and this got even worse when he saw a charr.
- until one day when he calmed down after snapping a charr's neck.
- he felt something in his heart just like before the searing,
- there was a little fire burning in his heart...
- from that day on Gabriel started a Quest to find out what that feeling means.
