Let's Be Clear[edit]

You say, "Bottom line is this: Nothing good has ever come from Tyrian Rabbits. You may say The Rabbit was nice, but if you read his dialogue at the Farewell to Gaile event the Frog accuses him of cheating at gambling. Nasty."

I have to say that Froggie's comments were meant partly in jest -- the result of a long-time rivalry -- and partly in continuing admiration of Rabbit's card-playing prowess. I have heard of a legendary all-nighter they pulled at a pub outside of Lion's Arch with a bunch of other denizens of the area. Froggie thought it amazing that Rabbit drew to an inside straight. Twice. They switched to Tripoli and Rabbit got the Queen/King combo and the 8-9-10 of any Suit. How likely is that, with legitimate play? Froggie, ever a moralist and always one to expect straight shooting, thought to complain, thought to call out his erring friend. On the tip of his tongue was a sarcastic comment: "Well, do you have any more cards up your sleeve?" Fortunately, before he embarrassed himself, he realized both he and Rabbit have no sleeves.

In our journeys around the countryside, Froggie and I have spent more than a few hours and a couple of lost weekends with dear Rabbit. He's a very hospitable host and, yes, a very good card player. Cheater? Well, if he is, neither Froggie nor I have been able to catch him red-pawed at it.

Yet. -- Gaile User gaile 2.png 03:48, 30 August 2009 (UTC)

Psst, Gaile, check behind Rabbit's ear, those are big enough to hide some cards. -- Azazel the Assassin/talk 03:58, 30 August 2009 (UTC)
I agree Gaile, Daniel's getting a bit paranoid. Shouldn't have told him about the Year of the Rabbit thing, though in some countries it is known as Year of the Cat. Who knows which way Cantha goes with it. But yeah, Daniel, we love you dearly, but stop worrying about the bunnies, and stop listening to Konig when he's trying to make you freak out. ^^" Katherinezoltin 04:04, 30 August 2009 (UTC)
I'm not trying to freak him out. >_> Just warning him of the impending rabbit invasion in 2011. -- Azazel the Assassin/talk 04:05, 30 August 2009 (UTC)
[1] I think He has a real reason to be paranoid. personn5User Personn5 sig.jpg 04:08, 30 August 2009 (UTC)
You forgot one of the most potent of signs of the impending rabbit apocalypse. Rabbits are the preferred disguises of powerful enemies.--Pyron Sy 04:09, 30 August 2009 (UTC)
Good heavens, one rabbit goes a little haywire and the whole world pays note? That was purely an anomaly! (I think.) -- Gaile User gaile 2.png 04:10, 30 August 2009 (UTC)
Well then explain this! User Felix Omni Signature.pngelix Omni 04:12, 30 August 2009 (UTC)
Welcome to the world of conspiracy, and Rabbitism? >.>" Katherinezoltin 04:12, 30 August 2009 (UTC)
Quickly! Bow down to the rabbit masters before they take over! They'll let us live if we appease them! personn5User Personn5 sig.jpg 04:13, 30 August 2009 (UTC)

@Az -- I have to admit, neither Froggie nor I had thought of that. But how to deal with the possibility? Tying his ears behind his head seems a bit extreme. I wonder... Would it seem suspicious if we called the next poker party "Hat Night" and told everyone they, too, must wear a "chapeau" like The Frog? :) -- Gaile User gaile 2.png 01:33, 2 September 2009 (UTC)
Bad idea, some hat's can summon Rabbits. /CoughnonamesFreezie. What is to stop a similar occurance with cards. Frozenwind 01:39, 2 September 2009 (UTC) (Nobody expects the Tyrian Inquisition! o_0)
Hey Daniel, I got this lovely place for you in Ascalon. You can go talk with this guy who loves pudding, like Luna Lovegood! ^^" Katherinezoltin 03:34, 2 September 2009 (UTC)
