Notes[edit]

Improvement is always nice : I enjoy to see people trying to get the best out of rarely used skills.

Two questions : 1) Why so many energy management ? Eremite's zeal and zealous renewal seems to me like overkill. And 2) No IAS for more energy stealing ?

One mistake perhaps ? : Armor-ignoring damage (Aura of Holy Might, Zealous Renewal, Heart of Holy Flame) isn't boosted by EBSoH.

More ideas : 1 energy stealing is rather weak + most enchantment removal have high activation time and recharge time which heavily limits the energy steal/second so energy stealing is really icing on the cake. Your last build with meditation is still very interesting because you dn't actually need teardown : the enchantments being used here are short-lasting and therefore expire quickly (and recharge also quickly, allowing for spam).

The best benefit of the avatar to me is the halved recharge time for enchantment spells : this allows the dervish to use them twice as often for twice as many damage/utility or more easily maintained enchantments (such as in Harrier's Haste's case). Sadly the cost is also doubled, but this is somewhat mitigated by the energy stealing and can be further reduced if using a high mysticism.

Having as many flash enchantment spells as possible is best to me because they are instant but their number is limited by bar size and the 1s disabling of other flash enchantment spells. Interesting feeders to me are : Dust Cloak, Staggering Force/Rending Aura, Grenth's Fingers, Heart of Holy Flame for their initial damage (and their low recharge/cost). Zealous renewal too but requires at least one teardown skill to remove it immediately to avoid energy degen. Enchanted Haste, Harrier's Haste (and to a lesser extent Whirling Charge) are good IMS. Harrier's Grasp, Aura of Thorns can cripple. Lyssa's Haste is good utility. Self-survival can be increased with Mirage Cloak, Shield of Force or Veil of Thorns. For teardowns Pious fury is very good imo because it is instant teardown and provides IAS. Other teardowns have minimum 3/4s casting time (Rending Touch and Winds of Disenchantment), are 1s signets or are scythe attack skills with 1,125s activation time under 25% IAS (in this case, pious assault has the shortest recharge). Eremite's Attack can be used in PvE as always.

Here is my own bar : mysticism+earth prayers+Scythe mastery : Avatar of Lyssa, Pious Fury, Staggering Force, Dust Cloak, Zealous Renewal, Pious Assault, Enchanted Haste. Last slot for Mirage Cloack/Lyssa's Assault/Fleeting Stability/Shield of Force to prevent nasty knockdowns/attacks in PvP / Aura of Holy Might in PvE. Signet of Pious Light over Pious Assault if too many antimelee. It is also possible to make a Wind Prayer version with Harrier's Grasp, Harrier's Haste, Whirling Charge instead of Enchanted Haste, Dust Cloack, Staggering Force. Wind of Disenchantment can also be used for AoE enchantment removal (over whirling charge or Harrier's Haste).

That's all. Hope it wasn't too long to read ;)--Ruine User Ruine Eternelle Ruine Eternelle.jpg Eternelle 18:56, 5 January 2016 (UTC)

Back on your skill bar, it is very good. I suggest adding Harrier's Grasp or like I said Enchanted Haste against conditions, especially cripple. I don't really like Attacker's Insight (except against physical ofc, but low duration weakness isn't very good). Good point is that you only need to max mysticism, bad point is that you cannot invest in a shield. Otherwise, well, Flash enchantment spells being instant you can spam Holy Veil but watch out for d-shot and other interrupts : mirage cloak can help for that but Pious Concentration is another idea.--Ruine User Ruine Eternelle Ruine Eternelle.jpg Eternelle 22:26, 5 January 2016 (UTC)
I am sorry, but despite your really long post I would not like to comment on this (at least not right now) due to personal reasons. I could discuss this with you later though in-game if you add me. My main account's main character is King Off PvP. I usually play somewhere between 17.00-22.00 (5-10 PM) UTC. If you don't play during those hours, perhaps I will comment on this post later. Thank you for your interest though :). --Gelbrekt (talk) 10:09, 6 January 2016 (UTC)

Builds[edit]

Can you consider creating a main-space version of this to help populate Category:Dervish builds and Template:Team Roles nav? --Falconeye (talk) 18:02, 11 June 2016 (UTC)
