My User Page

After working on my user page for a while I am finally satisfied with both the layout and the content that I have made. This page took longer than I was expecting partly because I ended up recreating it multiple times with new designs and layouts. Looks fine other than the massive unmatching color scheme you have on the entire layout. Organized but bad colors. I reccommend going with a certain theme. Vanguard 17:47, 5 November 2007 (UTC)

Yeah it does, at first I was hoping that I hadn't added too much. At the moment I am working on replacing the colours with white for the tab you are presently on and grey for the others. The only problem I'm having is making it so when I do add the extra pages the background colours will change depending on which tab you are on. I know I've seen it done on another users page but I have no idea who it was or how they did it unfortunately. --Kakarot 20:54, 5 November 2007 (UTC)

Collector weapons by professions

I have seen the pages you are working on, I just don't understand why you are duplicating work I have pretty much already completed. I do understand that my lists only list max damage/energy items, so maybe you could concentrate on the non-max damage stuff and we can link them? I know how much time these take... I've been working on mine for 2 months, I just don't understand why it's necessary to have both.-- Wynthyst 00:45, 25 December 2007 (UTC)

Yeah sure linking them would be great, I'll probably still include all weapons since mine are by area and yours are by profession and type; sortof how Unique Weapons have a page by profession and one by area. Um.. ok... How about this? It provides fast access to your pages without added anything to the Quick access links. I've added the by profession table to all the regions. I just think there has to be a way to combine the work we have both done, while not having to fill up the Quick Access links tables with so many more links. -- Wynthyst 10:50, 25 December 2007 (UTC)

Works for me :D The sidebar request is for Quick access links. And I'm really not trying to diminish the work you've done. I know exactly how long it takes to do these. I guess I'm a little frustrated by the colored in tables, I really don't like that format, seems everyone just came over and tried to duplicate the guild wiki ones. But I guess I just have to live with it. Oh and your prophecies monk page had an extra ; in the link that broke it in the top box, so I fixed that.-- Wynthyst 15:51, 25 December 2007 (UTC)

I'll make the changes to the Factions, Nightfall and Eye of the North collectors then. The coloured backgrounds on the tables came from the Unique Items pages, I've had a look at what it would look like without it and it looks ok. What do you think of having it use the professions tint colour instead (eg: {{mo-color|tint}}), that way it would match the header. Oh and thanks for the fix on the header, thought I got them all lol :) --Kakarot 18:33, 25 December 2007 (UTC)

Not that my way is the only way, but splitting them by attribute and item makes the TOC more usable... and you really don't need to change the way they are if you don't wish to... I'm just a bit sensitive because I got copyright vio'd with my VERY first attempt at posting something here because it LOOKED too much like the guildwiki version... yet I see all this other stuff that looks basically identical to the guild wiki version including the unique item pages and everyone seems to be fine with it... (Reset indent) I actually prefer it with the tint colour background rather than the present way, I'll probably change it later so the section with all the info has the colour. I'll also change the weapon type to a level 3 or 4 heading as well so it shows up in the TOC but will probably leave the attributes as they are. --Kakarot 21:19, 25 December 2007 (UTC)

=D I ended up changing it to the table headers rather than the content section, looked better this way and adds continuity to these pages. Maybe start a discussion on the Unique Items page to get those changed in the same way? --Kakarot 15:24, 26 December 2007 (UTC)
