User talk:Marigu goke
Marigu - I would suggest starting with something simple so you don't accidentally deface my page again. Here's a short tutorial on Userboxes (see http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Template:Userbox for what the parameters mean) to get you started (you should really read http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Help:Editing then follow the links at the bottom for more, but I'll get you started with a simple feature). There is a tutorial for this somewhere on the wiki
To create custom userboxes, you want something like{{Userbox|green|white|[[image:Spiteful_Spirit.jpg|44px]]|This user would take Spiteful Spirit over Bone Golem any day}}
which yields |
braces like this {{ }} indicate to use a template, which in this case is named Userbox (you can define your own templates, but let's start simple). There are many defined userbox templates already:
http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/Category:User_templates |
To use these use the shorter forms, you use the namespace and the name; for instance, if it says User: you use User Name: and Guild: you use Guild Name. Note that Template:User can be shortened to User. Some have extra parameters that you will have to look up. Here are some examples: |
{{User Necromancer}}
|
{{User favorite skill|n|Spiteful Spirit|Marigu Goke}}
|
{{NightfallHeroes|0|2|3|4|0|6|7|8|9|0|11|0|13|14|15}}
|
Some are a bit more complex like {{Kurzick title|Level|Faction transferred}}
for example: |
{{Kurzick title|10|5784000}}
yields |
Texmod Removal[edit]
I just wanted to make contact, if you're still active, and let you know that your mod has been removed from the list on the wiki because of a dead link. If you can update or re-upload the mod, we'd be glad to have it back. ~Farlo Talk 16:45, 18 May 2011 (UTC)
