I'm not really sure what you are trying to do, but at the moment you seem to be doing it wrong. Perhaps you could clarify and I could point you to the correct method for achieving what you want to achieve. Misery 13:31, 30 January 2009 (UTC)

Are those images for your guild? Then they need to be uploaded into the guild name space, for example Image:Guild IMAGE NAME.jpg‎. You can move them by just hitting the move tab at the top of the image's page. Misery 13:33, 30 January 2009 (UTC)

im sorry im new at this, was just trying to put together a guild page :P, im just trying it out for the first time, im not even sure if u get this message

I get it and I think I've worked out what you are trying to do, want me to try and clean it up a bit? Also, please sign your comments on talk pages using ~~~~ so we can tell who said what. Misery 13:37, 30 January 2009 (UTC)

so i need to use Mattijs Mertens 13:41, 30 January 2009 (UTC) then u can see what i said??

ok im getting the hang of it, btw wy are u looking around in our guild page (just out of curiosity) (hope i spelled that wright) Mattijs Mertens 13:42, 30 January 2009 (UTC)

Also helps if you can indent comments using ":", common practice is to use one more than the person you are responding to. I wasn't really looking at your guild page specifically, but I just noticed your changes in Special:RecentChanges and it looked like you were having some trouble (or potential trouble in the future) with things like image naming. Misery 13:45, 30 January 2009 (UTC)
(Edit conflict) We're watching you through the Recent Changes ಠ_ಠ. --TalkRiddle 13:46, 30 January 2009 (UTC)

ok, im going to play gw now :p ill get back to the page later c ya Mattijs Mertens 13:54, 30 January 2009 (UTC)

Yeah... you should probably name images in English were possible, also I suspect there is already a Dutch flag somewhere. Misery 17:23, 30 January 2009 (UTC)

im busy with it all, what do you mean with naming images in English? Mattijs Mertens 17:26, 30 January 2009 (UTC)

made a mistake now Mattijs Mertens 17:26, 30 January 2009 (UTC)

Well, you uploaded "Image:EU vlag.JPEG", that should probably be called "EU Flag", unless you upload it to the guild namespace or something. I think I'm kind of out of my depth here. Misery 17:28, 30 January 2009 (UTC)

ok i get your point, it very confusing, but this is a dutch guild, only people who can talk or understand dutch are allowed, what does it acutally matter that it stands there in dutch? (if this has something to do with rules ill be happy to change it) Mattijs Mertens 17:30, 30 January 2009 (UTC)

I don't really know, I suspect you should probably use existing images where possible or that other images have names preceeded with Guild Dutch Strange Heroes. I might just grab a sysop to take a looksee before things get too difficult to fix up later cause I confess I've barely read any of these policies. Misery 17:35, 30 January 2009 (UTC)

ive got some questions if you've got some time, how do u put another eeuh how to say it, where the picture of the cape is and some guild info, can u put another in? Mattijs Mertens 17:32, 30 January 2009 (UTC)

You want another Guild Infobox? You have two capes? I am a little confused as to why you want two. Technically it's possible, but why? One for Dutch language? Misery 17:35, 30 January 2009 (UTC)

do you also know how to link the other sites of the alliance to this one, like Order Of The Hijo De La Luna Mattijs Mertens 17:34, 30 January 2009 (UTC)

Let me go find that guild and see. Misery 17:35, 30 January 2009 (UTC)
If you want them to update their alliance infobox you should probably ask one of them to do it in game, I'm not comfortable syncing it up as I don't know any of the members. Misery 17:38, 30 January 2009 (UTC)

ok thanks Mattijs Mertens 17:36, 30 January 2009 (UTC)

did u changed all that?? (if so tyvm) Mattijs Mertens 17:45, 30 January 2009 (UTC)

You can find existing flag images here - Category:Flag images. If you are a member of the alliance you can just copy the alliance nav box on each existing guild page. I made a few adjustments to your guild page for formatting reasons, etc. Also as Misery has said, images should be named in English, in accordance with our image use policy as this is the English language wiki. Thanks! --Wyn's Talk page Wyn 17:49, 30 January 2009 (UTC)

its fine with me, if im not mistaken ive already changed the names of the pictures (maybe not the cape) Mattijs Mertens 17:53, 30 January 2009 (UTC)

Images of your members[edit]

Are specifically disallowed in the Guild pages policy. Specific relevant part is:

Profiles and images of members of the guild, should they be present, must be placed on user pages or subpages of the guild, and linked.

That basically means you have to remove the picture of your offices from the main page, but you can make a sub page which contains the image. You also need to move the image to something like Image:Guild Dutch Strange Heroes Officers.jpg. Does that make sense or do I need to explain any of it further? Misery 18:38, 1 February 2009 (UTC)
