how do I link stuff to a specific section? x: ups broke your clean talk page --Super Igor 13:04, 10 February 2009 (UTC)
- [[Space:Pagename#Sectionname]], or just click a section link and copy paste everything after http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/ and put it in square brackets if you can't work out what that means. Misery 13:06, 10 February 2009 (UTC)

Names for my female PvE Ranger
Give me name ideas for my new PvE ranger I'm going to spec for PvP. Either that or approve my current ideas. Current ideas are:
- Apply Misery - Generically ranger
- Professor R Misrey - The brilliant wife of Dr J Pianc -
- Miss R Misrey - Not quite ready to tie the knot, still young, uneducated and innocent
- Savage Misery - Just a touch of S&M in the name
- Misery Has Pew Pew - Pew Pew
- Mizzles Mc Pew Pew - Mc Pew Pew -
- Misery Spams Ints - I really do
- Mizzles Mc Pretty - Because I am so pretty
Thoughts? Misery 00:12, 11 February 2009 (UTC)
- I have cast my votes. Also, you've managed to misspell "Misery" twice and "knot" once. <3 Raine - talk 01:50, 11 February 2009 (UTC)
- Why always this repeating misery pattern? Couldn't fit "Entril Feaster", too? Ɲoɕʈɋɽɕɧ 02:02, 11 February 2009 (UTC)
- (Edit conflict) Damn. Beat me to the unsigned tag. p.q
- Also, what's an "Entril"? Raine - talk 02:14, 11 February 2009 (UTC)
- I am allowed to fail at English, you are allowed to do so at German =P Ɲoɕʈɋɽɕɧ 02:25, 11 February 2009 (UTC)
- PS:Is Entrils better?
- PPS: No second S anywhere.
- If you're referring to gore, I think you want "Entrails".
- Also, ignore me; I'm just trolling. Raine - talk 02:36, 11 February 2009 (UTC)
- I don't ignore trolls, I sint them. Ɲoɕʈɋɽɕɧ 02:41, 11 February 2009 (UTC)
- Well, I'm sinting you right now. Raine - talk 03:23, 11 February 2009 (UTC)
- "Mc" is full of win. Vili 05:48, 11 February 2009 (UTC)
- "Misrey" is an intentional mispelling of Misery as "Pianc" is an intentional mispelling of Panic. Knot was unintentional T_T. Noctarch, we've been over the whole naming thing before. Once people have played with me a bit they recognise my voice on vent shouting out "BLIND!" and it will be removed even before I say which number I am if they recognise my name. - Ehm, the fact that your wishes to others are lovely?: I wanted to wish you happy birthday but I couldn't think of an appropriately cynical or sarcastic way of doing it so I mostly let it slide. Noctarch goes PvP
^__^ ... I accidently unlocked Hero's Ascend via some strange random arena team (me playing life stealing weapon spam, a Kuuronh Spiker, Signet of Illusion Me/Rt and a SoH-PBAoE Nuker). So, ready for randomway? xD Ɲoɕʈɋɽɕɧ 03:05, 16 February 2009 (UTC)

- Hrrrrrrm. I haven't actually been playing that much. I was planning my holiday today. Maybe if I get home early tomorrow, but I have German class, then I'm going to Munich. I'll be back on Saturday. Almost certainly we can go then. Misery 23:52, 17 February 2009 (UTC)
- Munich is quite good. And I will try to get the legendary vanquisher before fryday¹ so I will be in the dire need for a break. (¹ yes, it is fry-day because it is our family french-fries day) Ɲoɕʈɋɽɕɧ 03:07, 18 February 2009 (UTC)
- Are Fryday and Friday the same day? Misery 09:58, 18 February 2009 (UTC)
- The problem is you don't make a difference like we do by using "das gleiche" and "dasselbe"This is a sublimial message to do your German class assiduously. So I have to say: Friday does not equal Fryday but they are the 5th day of the week.
Misery 14:50, 18 February 2009 (UTC)

(Reset indent) Very carefully, you may ask them to speak High German. Do it as carefully as performing an Equal-Rights demonstration in Mississipi in the first half of the 20th century and being black. Yea, about that. xD Ɲoɕʈɋɽɕɧ 02:20, 19 February 2009 (UTC)

- I just realized the implications of the User creation log. This makes me sad.
- However, vandals can still have a field day by creating accounts with inappropriate names; even if they never post, everyone will see them in recentchanges. Brb, rickrolling user creation log. Vili 23:55, 4 March 2009 (UTC)

Updates
They are coming along nicely, aren't they? What is still on your list to be fixed, out of simple curiosity? --Antioch 02:05, 7 March 2009 (UTC)
- I haven't played seriously since the last update, but there were no adjustments to Palm Strike, rangers are still going to be very strong, but hopefully the worst of the turret builds are gone and I am suspecting hexes are going to be big because they were still big before the last update and I can't see anything that has affected them. Misery 12:08, 7 March 2009 (UTC)
- I've been seeing more Peace and Harmony monks given play stacked with some extra protection or healing and a few more anti-hex skills. — Jon Lupen 17:39, 7 March 2009 (UTC)
- Hexes still work against teams running PnH and you shouldn't be required to run PnH to beat hexway anyway. PnH only keeps one person clean of hexes at a time and there are a crapload of AoE hexes. Misery 17:51, 7 March 2009 (UTC)
- Thus the exra hex removals. The 7 second recharge on Peace and Harmony is also pretty dandy. Also, a significant change to the meta almost alsways requires a response with an adjustment to what other builds are running. — Jon Lupen 18:14, 7 March 2009 (UTC)
- Except people were running those and still losing to hexway... I say this from running hexways and beating people running PnH before anyone says "That's just because you are bad Misery". Yes, I have no honour. Misery 18:20, 7 March 2009 (UTC)

- (Edit conflict) @Misery: *Shrugs* I've played with rather good people who lost because they didn't know how to face a build, or use theirs quite yet, ect. There's always several factors involving victory and defeat. Also, a team of good players running hexway will always beat a team of horrible players with a build stacked 100% against them. I've beaten good builds with horrible ones becuase of our playes where far more skilled than the other team. Even considering how "horribly balanced" (according to certain people) the game is, it's still to the point where the better players will just about always win, even without the best build or the most broken build, ect. — Jon Lupen 18:37, 7 March 2009 (UTC)
- I haven't obsed or played since the update, but hexes and anti-hexes weren't adjusted and NHway used Lingering to own face and dual necro hexes was still taking names before the update, no reason why similar builds won't continue to do so. Yes, both builds used PRage and turretish rangers, but NHway's ranger is barely hurt (oh noes, no more Flail!) and there are plenty of viable warrior and ranger bars. Misery 18:52, 7 March 2009 (UTC)
- We've used a good anti-hex monk as well a mesmer with spot-on interrupts to take down a few hexway teams (high suucess rate, in the somewhat small amount of HA we've done). Primal Rage is impossible to keep up 100% cover when you want it now though. Hero smites a more rough though, as it relies more on hero AI and not so much on specific builds. We've run into all different forms of hero smites and fallen to quite a few of them, seeing as it's based around the heros and less around your generaly seen palm strike front line. — Jon Lupen 19:02, 7 March 2009 (UTC)
- I HA very very little indeed, but I assume heroes will still be a problem there. WoW changes probably minimal, means palm strike sins can't ignore linebacking with WoW up. Misery 19:07, 7 March 2009 (UTC)
- I often find myself without the time for HA, GvG or observer mode, but most of my guild does, and they are good about keeping me in the loop :) Also, one good monk can pretty much shutdown a front line. I monk in Jade Quarry (Luxon side) somewhat often, and always thwart any assassins, warriors, dervishes, melee rangers, or any other random melee if said melee is not backed by a caster or two, mesmer for interrupts/casting penalties, or someone with pretty heavy enchantment removal. Guardian + Reversal of Fortitude > melee. Even then, Peace and Harmony is good for shedding any casting penalties often laid on thick by mesmers and such. Peace and Harmony is good bar compression, handling both hex removal and condition removal with a favorable recharge time, allowing more room to fit in a decent amount of heals and some good protection. My Jade Quarry monking build also plays out pretty favorably in Alliance Battles, and different variations have made a good 3rd monk in GvG and HA if we go for a 3rd monk. — Jon Lupen 19:18, 7 March 2009 (UTC)
