I'd hold up on those progression charts, I believe we can simply use the ones from the GWiki. — Rapta (talk|contribs) 19:44, 8 February 2007 (PST)

Nope, we can't, due to copyright concerns. See your talk page for details. I'm putting them in manually for the moment, because I just want to have some actual content on this site - once we get a new set of templates up and running, I'll change these over. I would also like to note that I'm only working on the ones for the Monk class at the moment, see my user page for the very obvious reason. --Pepe 20:05, 8 February 2007 (PST)

Current Projects

Currently, I'm working on trying to come up with a general concept for a guild page, User:MisterPepe/GuildPageSandbox, and working on entering the Monk skills into the database, User:Skuld/Skills list. I'm really just making this comment for my own edification (and so I don't have to remember the links), so don't worry about it. I'm also working on wikifying my User:MisterPepe/MonkWeaponSwaps article, which will hopefully help some people out. - Pepe talk 11:05, 19 February 2007 (PST)

User Page Policy

I updated my userpage to fit this new policy. I didnt see your message for 3 days. I hope it fits everything now Ekrin 20:14, 26 February 2007 (EST)

Copy-right issues

Please take note of the 'Content is available under Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike' at the bottom of the GuildWiki pages. As long as they are being used in no way for commercial purposes, they are free to put anywhere. - Drago 21:56, 2 March 2007 (EST)

Pepe, I responded on his page, and copied his comment over there to try to keep the conversation together.  :) --Rainith 22:00, 2 March 2007 (EST)

Thanks for the help

Thanks for the help on my userpage, it's greatly appreciated! --Match 21:28, 11 March 2007 (EDT)

No problem, WikiGnoming is always fun XD Pepe talk 21:30, 11 March 2007 (EDT)
Do I have to delete and reupload my Spade to the correct name space? User Scourge Sig.gif instead of Image:Scourge.gif -- Scourge File:Scourge.gif 21:55, 11 March 2007 (EDT)
As far as I know, the regulation only applies to images in the User namespace. There's nothing specific about sig icons, at least for now. You might want to add the {{user image}} tag to it, just to make sure that it isn't seen as a normal image, but it's not necessary. In the talk at GWW:USER, Gem's been asking about the same thing, and there will probably be a template, say, {{sig image}} or something, but not yet =). Short version: No, you don't, though you may need to add a category stub to it later/ Pepe talk 22:23, 11 March 2007 (EDT)

Hehe, I'm sorry MisterPepe. Didn't check for such an article, my bad. -- CoRrRan (CoRrRan / talk) 14:04, 12 March 2007 (EDT)

Cut and Paste

You've told me to stop copying information from GuildWiki. This has me confused for two reasons.

One, Guildwiki obtained its information from Guildwars. It doesn't belong to wiki because it's simply documentation of information in the game, and not original material. This alone absolves me of any wrong-doing in copying skill articles.

Second, all of the information on GuildWiki is released under GFDL and is free for non-commercial distribution. Thus, even if the Sacrifice article can be considered original for its analysis of game content, it is free to be used here.

Conclusively, I see no reason to do the same research as GuildWiki has to achieve the same results. Since there is nothing illegal about what I am doing, and since it is the logical course of action to take, please do not berate me for it.

As for your note on my attribute progressions, the first skill article I found on this site was using a 0..12..16 format and I assumed that would be the case. Since you seem sure that it is not, could you please post a link to where it says otherwise? And I removed the table because the majority of skill articles I have seen are using the green lettered milestone format, and logic dictates that all skills are formatted the same way. I replied on your talk page. Pepe talk 19:00, 15 March 2007 (EDT)

Yoink!

In case I moved the article from right under your feet, I moved the Celestial Tournament Rules to Celestial Tournament rules. In general, try not to capitalize unless there's a proper noun. Cheers. --Karlos 14:51, 16 March 2007 (EDT)

Fair enough. You changed the links too, so it's all good. Thanks for fixing that. Pepe talk 15:54, 16 March 2007 (EDT)

Nyah, nyah

Ok, I'm even drinking tonight (not green beer, but good enough) and I still beat you to the punch on those copyvio's. :P & ;) --Rainith 02:31, 18 March 2007 (EDT)

XP I had that coming, I suppose. Back to the midless +del tagging T_T Pepe talk 02:32, 18 March 2007 (EDT)

Blessing sub pages

You marked the blessing sub pages for deletion and I had to remove the delete tags. The pages were included in the Blessing article, they werent duplicate of the information. And sub pages are also used in the main name space. -- Gem (gem / talk) 16:56, 18 March 2007 (EDT) Just noticed, same thing with the other sub page that you marked for deletion. -- Gem (gem / talk) 16:58, 18 March 2007 (EDT)

Hahahahaha.... Sorry, that's just funny because that's what I just logged on to fix, and you beat me by five minutes =P I realized my error last night, when I was perhaps a little buzzed from the whole St. Patrick's Day thing, and going through Special:Lonelypages. Speaking of which, I don't suppose there's a way to filter pages out of that that are included into another page somewhere? =\ Thanks for fixing that. Pepe talk 17:00, 18 March 2007 (EDT)
Np. :) Btw, your sig breaks the sig policy. Your whole user name must be visible. -- Gem (gem / talk) 17:18, 18 March 2007 (EDT)
Oh, good call. I missed the "Using a nickname which hides your true user name or suggest that you are another user are seen as disruptive and are not allowed." line, I'll go take care of that. I just figured that there weren't really many other Pepes in the wiki, or in GW for that matter =P MisterPepe talk 17:21, 18 March 2007 (EDT)
Yeah, the policy is a bit long and it is easy to make a mistake. No harm done. :) -- Gem (gem / talk) 17:25, 18 March 2007 (EDT)

Bahbukar

You need to start looking at the edit history before claiming copyvio. Quoting from note I put in from very first edit on the page, "(original and only author for this page on GuildWiki)". And who cares if this is a seldom read page. It is a NPC from the game. EMonk 16:14, 20 March 2007 (EDT)
