need help w/ cape pic of my guild

continued in June
how do you do that? i mean i kno the HTML and all, but its not working MercyFalls 21:12, 30 May 2007 (UTC)

In this case the image is in an infobox. Ordinarily, to include an image in an article I would use something like this:

Ascalon's capital city lies in ruin after the Searing.

Which would then produce something like this (see right).

But what you want it to put your cape in an infobox. An infobox is the box seen at the side of the page which provides a brief summary of the information contained on the page in the form of a sort of fact file and auto-categorization. The infobox for use on guild pages can be found here. Simply copy and paste this:

{{Guild infobox
| capeimage =
| tag =
| territory =
| language =
| faction =
| type =
| members =
| hall =
| voip =
| irc =
| web =
| forum =
| time =

Into your guild article underneath the header Mercy Falls [MF], and edit it as appropriate. To use to use a personal example, entering something like this:

{{guild infobox
| capeimage = Image:Guild Abyssal Academy Cape.jpg|150px
| tag = [AA]
| type = PvE
| territory = Europe
| faction = Kurzick
| members = ≈10
| hall = Wizard's Isle

Would create an infobox like this (see right).

Santax/2007/May [AA]
File:Guild Abyssal Academy Cape.jpg
Territory Europe
Faction Kurzick
Type PvE
No. of members ≈10
Guild Hall Wizard's Isle

That's about it I think. If you need any more help, I'll be here :) --Santax (talk · contribs) 06:39, 31 May 2007 (UTC)
