Hey - that snippet above was a bit rushed (I had to catch a bus), so I went back and tweaked a little. I'll go through it by step, as you seem to have a few confusions :)

This, as you may have guessed, just checks if you're on a userpage. The two conditions are separated by the '&&' operator. This designates an AND command - the statement only returns true if both conditions evaluate as true. You were using if statements separated by semicolons before - what you really needed was the '||' operator, or OR, which evaluates as true if either condition is true. The "indexOf("/") == -1" section checks to see whether the page is a subpage. The indexOf function returns the index of a character in a string - if the character isn't present, it returns as -1, so this conditional is checking for the "/" symbol. Though I know you release your work openly, this will intercept those simply copying and pasting your page as theirs. Mine are based off of Lensor's template and I modifyied it to my liking. My user page is one big table, with a ton of templates in it. I am confused as to what you want me to do, do you want me to make a draft user page for you or provide you with the proper coding? I would advice you to limit yourself to provide the information bcrats request about the case from now on. If you remember anything about previous cases with conflictive users (be it on the arbcomm or admin noticeboard), you should know that they attract the attention of other users who enjoy discussing more that what is healthy, and that are not really known for listening to others opinions.

I don't suggest using this in any way, shape, or form. Machine translation is, at best, ugly and more often than not incomprehensible, especially between syntactically dissimilar languages like English and Chinese or Japanese. Indo-European languages seem to come out somewhat better, but it's very, very far from perfect; i.e. a human being can pick out a simple spelling mistake like 'teh', machine translation cannot. Yeah, it's not perfect. But it's a stop-gap, and no-ones forced to use it. If it helps a few users, then great. If not, then it only took half an hour, no big deal. I agree on the dodgyness of machine translation - my original idea was to translate pagenames, and have those link to the appropriate wiki in the native language. @Kokuou, it is a completely optional tool; I find ArenaNet in the wrong for not providing this wiki in other languages (I assume AT does as well). This tool may not have a perfect translation, but it could be helpful for some users; at least in a somewhat small way.

Image Naming template

Hey Shadow, if you add a further message to a users talk page regarding image naming as you did on Fox Cubs page, it might be better to not use the template a second time. Maybe manually type out a message to mention the image or images that have been tagged for deletion, re-adding the same template a second time looks a bit too impersonal. Also if he keeps getting the same message for each image; he has already uploaded seven images; it might make it less likely he will check his messages although he hasn't responded at all so far. --Kakarot 13:48, 14 May 2008 (UTC)
