(Edit conflict) x2 Sorry, to delete it you would have to use the tag or (as Balistic has done for you) ask the admins directly. Users aren't given the power to delete articles or histories, because that could be a very messy advantage for wiki-vandals. There is no reason to create duplicate suggestion pages. This does not "bump" them, it simply clutters up the space. Staves, Wands and Foci

Hi John,

I'm here to ask if something can be done about the state of staves, wands and foci in the game. Currently, the selection that is available is very large, however, the selection of usable staves, wands and foci are much smaller. There are many skins in the game that are only available through primary attributes, select attributes (factions staves and wands) and many are uninscribable and cannot be upgraded. Inscribable versions of some of these sough after skins can only be obtained through PvP Rewards, however, meeting the requirement to make these weapons are too great and are simply not worth it. The Zaishen Chest does not drop inscibable versions of these wands and staves. Here is a page detailing some of the issues that are present: http://wiki.guildwars.com/wiki/User:Grown_Up_Gwen

There is also a thread on guru where people are expressing their annoyance at the limited choices they can make with staves, wands and foci.

For example, I have always wanted to get my hands on a Celestial Scepter for my monk. I love the skin but it is impossible for me to obtain it since it drops in factions, therefore uninscribable, it is not available in Healing and Protection prayers as stated in the link, I cannot get it through the Zaishen Chest and I can't make it using PvP rewards. The only way to make this weapon under PvP rewards is if I first create 50 basic weapons, then 50 fancy weapons - all of which will cost either tournament rewards points which are exclusive to GvGers or ZCoins, which is impossible due to how painfully slow it will take. I can only get about 6 silver coins a day if I did the zaishen quests on multiple characters but it costs more just to make 1 basic weapon. It cost 12 silver coins per basic weapon and 24 per fancy weapon and I need 50 of each. The celestial scepter (and many other nice skins) is at the third tier - exotic weapons. This means I need to gather 1800 silver coins before I can work on the 36 coins needed for the celestial scepter. If only HB were back, the ATs' will make reaching these tiers so much more convenient.

So, I'm here to ask you if anything can be done about the limitations that are present for staves, wands and foci in the game? There aren't many appealing skins that bypass all these limitations.

I do not see a suggestion at all in what I have written. I only see a question that has been directed to John to see if something can be done about the problem. If all you care about is the answer to that specific yes-or-no question, allow me to answer it for you, as it's the same answer for literally every conceivable change to the game: If the Live Team agrees that it's a problem to a degree that warrants the amount of effort necessary to implement a change, yes. Else, no.
