signature

From User_talk:Anja_Astor#Suggestions.3F - was there something in particular you were trying to figure out with signatures, or just in general? :) Go to Aiiane's Talk page (Aiiane - talk - contribs) 10:21, 2 November 2007 (UTC)

Pretty much just in general... still looking for a personal icon I like, but some of the really easy stuff is what I find the hardest to grok, yet I can do the more complicated stuff fairly easily. I've read the instructions for setting up a signature in my preferences, but it reads like Greek to me :P--Wynthyst 10:25, 2 November 2007 (UTC)
Alright. Some of this you'll probably already know, but one can never be sure exactly where things will click so I'll start pretty simple. You already know how to sign your posts with a default signature, given, well, your comment above. If you check the 'Raw signatures' box in the Preferences page, it basically says "don't use the default signature, but instead, whenever you see a ~~~ or ~~~~, just insert the stuff in the box above instead (plus a timestamp, for the latter)". The "stuff in the box above" is just regular wikicode - for instance, my raw signature is the following:
<small> (Aiiane - talk - contribs)</small>
Which results in my signature:
~~~ = Go to Aiiane's Talk page (Aiiane - talk - contribs)
~~~~ = Go to Aiiane's Talk page (Aiiane - talk - contribs) 10:40, 2 November 2007 (UTC)
As another example, the code for Anja's sig is this:
- <span style="font-variant: small-caps">anja</span>
Notice that it's just regular wiki code for font formatting, images, and links. :) Go to Aiiane's Talk page (Aiiane - talk - contribs) 10:40, 2 November 2007 (UTC)
Ok.. here is a test... did I do it right? --Go to Wynthyst's Talk page Wynthyst 13:10, 2 November 2007 (UTC)
Looks great to me. From the code, it looks like you wanted the icon to lead to the talk page, so I fixed that for you, I hope you don't mind :) - anja talk 13:49, 2 November 2007 (UTC)
You are always free to fix my stuff :P Now, maybe you will help me figure out what I've screwed up on some changes I want to make to my main page.... I think it's in my style tag in my nav, but grrrr.... --Go to Wynthyst's Talk page Wynthyst 13:53, 2 November 2007 (UTC)
Meh... nvm, I figured it out as soon as I wrote that :P --Go to Wynthyst's Talk page Wynthyst 13:56, 2 November 2007 (UTC)
Funny how that works, isn't it? :) Go to Aiiane's Talk page (Aiiane - talk - contribs) 14:22, 2 November 2007 (UTC)
I love your sig icon. LordBiro 21:41, 17 November 2007 (UTC)
Oh :D Thanks! I'm trying to learn how to do this :D --Go to Wynthyst's Talk page Wynthyst 22:45, 17 November 2007 (UTC)
Monograms are beautiful and I love the animation. :D - BeX iawtc 03:56, 19 November 2007 (UTC)
The sig icon is not animated as per policy requirements, but the logo on my user page is actually the first animated gif I have ever created. I'm glad you guys like it, as it took me many days and hours to figure out how to do it. --Go to Wynthyst's Talk page Wynthyst 11:37, 19 November 2007 (UTC)

Collector thingies!

I wanted to ask, are the lists for weapon collectors, or for both weapon and general items? - BeX iawtc 03:55, 19 November 2007 (UTC)

The lists as far as I can figure out cover ALL collector items, except armor pieces and GW:EN consumables (collectable?) as I haven't figured out where they fit yet but will most likely have their own lists... armor collectors are on separate lists. Basically, all I have done is take the collector table pages (name/Collector) and organize them into lists by campaign/region. Any collector that has not yet gotten a table page created shows up as a broken link, as well as those few collectors that have not yet had a main page created. I have created a few of the missing ones, and have cleaned up a few of the ones that are there (silly things like heading levels etc...), but my main focus was to give us an easy place to find collector information by campaign, organized in a way that made it easy to link to a quick access table, rather than having to go to the collector category page and open each collector separately... which is really obnoxious if you don't know the collector's name.--Go to Wynthyst's Talk page Wynthyst 11:31, 19 November 2007 (UTC)
Okay, cool, just needed to know so I can move them to the right places. :) - BeX iawtc 13:19, 19 November 2007 (UTC)
I've moved a few, but I'm not sure if they should have been "in the Southern Shiverpeaks" or "in Southern Shiverpeaks". The former flows better but might not be as accurate, I dunno. Feel free to move them again if you want. :P - BeX iawtc 10:48, 20 November 2007 (UTC)
I'd suggest "in the southern Shiverpeaks" as that both flows well and is more accurate than either the others. Backsword 09:35, 28 November 2007 (UTC)

Nav Bar Spelling

Just to let you know, on your nav bar you misspelled Heroes, at the moment you have it as Heros, just thought I'd let you know. Also while I'm here I might as well include it as well, very nice job on the logo you have on your nav bar :) --Kakarot Talk 23:53, 20 November 2007 (UTC)

Thanks.... I think :P --Go to Wynthyst's Talk page Wynthyst 23:56, 20 November 2007 (UTC)

Collector list box

I changed the box on List of ritualist collector weapons. What do you think about this version? Backsword 09:36, 28 November 2007 (UTC)

That's fine, but please do it to ALL the caster boxes.... continuity rules!--Go to Wynthyst's Talk page Wynthyst 18:19, 28 November 2007 (UTC)
