Dissonance costs 25 energy, and can provide unfocused single target interruption for 10...22...25 out of 50 seconds. With Ritual Lord, it's sustainable, but consumes nearly all of your energy regeneration. Choking Gas costs 15 Energy and provides AoE spell interruption, and it's sustainable with Practiced Stance, with 9 Wilderness Survival and 11 Expertise, it can be kept up for 17 out of every 19 seconds while leaving half of your energy regeneration free for other skills. -- Gordon Ecker 08:13, 18 September 2008 (UTC)

Just no. Don't do it. Decrease the cast time to 4 perhaps, and the recharge to, say, 40, but that should be enough. If you really want to make it more active then I guess you could go 10Energy 3Activation time 30Recharge time then take the duration down by a third, but I think the proposed change is just a bit too much. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:81.105.50.128 (talk).
Explain yourself, if you read the spirit, it attacks foes WHO ARE NOT ATTACKING. It's similar to warmongers weapon in that sense, deals almost negligible damage, can be molested if focused fired...Again, whats the problem? And gordon, Choking gas with an aoe interrupt like that is a little overpowered..:O--Lancy1214 21:50, 21 September 2008 (UTC)
The proposed version's description doesn't say anything about the spirit selectively attacking foes who aren't attacking, it just says that if one of it's attacks happens to hit a foe who isn't attacking, that foe is interrupted. Also, Warmonger's Weapon, which I had forgotten about, lasts longer and activates faster than the proposed version of Dissonance, and can be used for AoE interruption if it's cast on a dervish or a warrior or ranger a multi-target attack skill, and everyone except rangers has a shorter attack interval than spirits. -- Gordon Ecker 03:58, 25 September 2008 (UTC)
