This suggestion really sounds interesting.. Lou Wolfskin 09:53, 6 September 2009 (UTC)

Well the current leadership fits the name, As in the better leader you are the more people youre able to lead, and the more charismatic(energetic) you are at leading them... but of course... functionality > theme... and I more then agree this is a great change Talamare 10:10, 6 September 2009 (UTC)
I like this suggestion but would prefer you to append "paragon shout" so that warrior shouts simply give them no inherent benefit. —Jette User Jette awesome.png 10:40, 6 September 2009 (UTC)
I like it too, but while I think Jette might be being a little Scrooge-like by restricting it to Paragon shouts, I do wonder if Leadership should provide such a strong benefit for single-target shouts, especially offensive ones like the infamous Norn examples. Perhaps there could be an overlap, so that the energy benefit of Leadership is capped to 1 per creature affected (although that still leaves Paragons pretty weak in solo missions). Alternatively, make shouts that target a foe excempt from the benefit. Draxynnic 12:44, 6 September 2009 (UTC)
Adding 'paragon' is an interesting suggestion as it completely removes the energy gain from "Save Yourselves!", severely crippling the performance of that build. Well, to a point. The bar would no longer be capable of powering the energy skills on that bar without another adrenaline shout to assist it. In addition it deals with the potential of those single target Norn shouts, being non-paragon as they are. Racthoh 07:45, 7 September 2009 (UTC)
Okay, 'Paragon adrenaline shout or chant' hurts my head to read. There has to be some other way to word that. Racthoh 07:47, 7 September 2009 (UTC)
easy, remove the paragon part... Class synergy is what makes guild wars... remove it and it wont be guild wars anymore, there arent even any real abusable shouts in tactics anymore anyways Talamare 10:08, 7 September 2009 (UTC)
It's much easier to balance without having to take into account every single possible way something could be abused. Those Tactics shouts are what they are today because of Paragons, and have to remain that way because they would be abused otherwise. Racthoh 04:51, 8 September 2009 (UTC)
Watch Yourself was almost unused before Paragons because A) it was "nearby" range as opposed to "in earshot," and B) because warriors didn't gain energy from using it. I can hardly say I agree with how hard the skill has been nerfed, but because Paragons would abuse it otherwise, it needs to stay useless. If, however, they were less able to abuse it, it might be able to be toned up a bit. —Jette User Jette awesome.png 05:41, 8 September 2009 (UTC)
I wonder about that,
  • Fear me was nerfed because of Iway and steady stance... not to mention the fact it was the best energy denial skill ever...
  • Watch Yourself recharge was really because of paragons, but the 'ends with 3 attacks' isnt paragons fault, anet just wanted less armor on everyone because armor was one way to stack a defense web that made GvGs a 20min stand fest
  • Shields up was considered a 'buff' against ranger spike teams... and it fixed the problem of groups using this to prevent rangers from interrupting anymore
  • Coward! is probably the last war shout that paras used, and its still going strong Talamare 05:42, 8 September 2009 (UTC)
I've always been under the impression that "Shield's Up!" was changed as a result of Paragons at VoD. Anyway, leaving the 'Paragon' limitation on there hits "Save Yourselves!", which is certainly a good place to start with that build. Racthoh 09:35, 8 September 2009 (UTC)
I've thought that "Watch Yourself!" could be moved to Strength and have the functionality reverted back, but that'd make Tactics even more of the lame attribute it already is. As far as the suggested attribute change goes though, I like it.--Alce User Alce infobox.png What's today's Build? 03:56, 9 September 2009 (UTC)

Boro is organizing a Paragon Focus Group, check it out! ^_^ --Falconeye 06:01, 18 March 2011 (UTC)
