"Daimyo of the Dragon Samurai" is a new guild formed from the ashes of another guild. We would like to avoid having this guild crash as our last one did and as such we have decide to focus more on getting people who actively play the game and communicate with each other. Our main goal is to create a friendly, helpful guild that people can enjoy playing Guild Wars as a member of. For more information please visit our site, Daimyo of the Dragon Samurai
[edit] Recruitment
Due to problems in our last guild, we have decided to create more strict recruiting criteria than most other guilds. We will accept most anybody who is over the age of 16, and, based on their maturity level, even players as young as 14. To help facilitate active communication, We ask that new members supply the officers with an e-mail address that we can contact you at if needed. This does not have to be your main account and free accounts can be easily set up at Yahoo!, Google, or MSN. All officer's e-mail contacts are posted on our guild site, Daimyo of the Dragon Samurai, for members to contact us if needed. If you have Factions we would like for you to donate at least 5k a week to the guild alliance, but it is not required. Because we are aiming for an active, friendly environment, we ask that you be online at least once every 2 weeks, preferably more often. If you are inactive for more than a month, you will be at risk of being kicked in favor of more active players. However, we are aware that life tends to get in the way of playing Guild Wars, so before you are kicked you will be sent an e-mail notifying you of the risk. If you fail to respond within a week, you will be kicked.
[edit] Promotion Requirements
In order to be considered for promotion, a member must have been with the guild for at least thee weeks. Also, we would like for all officers to have at least one Level 20 character, but this may be waived based on the person's leadership skills. All officers who own Factions will be expected to spend at least 1 hour each week earning faction for the guild alliance. As we are trying to establish a friendly environment, this will not be as big a deal as in some guilds. Any officers who is inactive for more than 2 weeks with out notice will be at risk of demotion. Again, e-mails notifying the officers of his/her risk will be sent out. If no response is received within a week, that officer will be demoted.
