is this going to be a directory at somepoint? or what? it doesn't seem like it should just be like this.Jibjabman
Yeah, doesn't seem to me like this should link from the main page as it is. Maybe a list of collectors and weapons available, but as it is, it seems like a waste. I clicked the main page link expecting to find info on the types of collector weapons and which collectors can provide what in exchange for a certain type of drop, but instead was treated to a description of what a collector weapon is. Not what I needed, and not what I believe should link from the main page Magua 16:29, 26 June 2007 (UTC)

- I was also looking for "Where do I get a +15%/+50%hp sword", and was expecting to find it here, so there should be at least a redirect at the bottom of the page, if that sort of page exists at all here. Miss Innocent 22:40, 27 October 2007 (UTC)
This should be a directory and I believe we should put our heads together and decide on the exact format we want to use here since this is totally virginal here and not a complete mess like on GWiki.org. I'm going to go check the "greens" listing to see if i like that format, on GWiki.org they have started to use a sortable table (which i like very much) but the whole thing is such a mess it could take months to sort it out. Is there any chance someone is gonna make this page like the one for green weapons/items? cause i really like the layout used there you can find easily what green weapon you might want to have and how to get it. A table like that on this page would be very nice to make. I don t have much time to do it myself but if needed i do it in the coming months. Silencio 19:18, 6 April 2007 (EDT)

Yea I just added a few things like the weapons can't be salaveged, and that there great for near perfect weapons for your heros. I also added that some staff even though they're the same can always be dyed like the Tryian Bonestaff can be dyed but the Canthan one can't. ~ Ian Briley.

I vividly recall adding upgrades to a variety of Collector Weapons and being able to salvage them later; however, this was on Canthan (Factions) weapons; I'm not sure about items from the oher two campaigns, but it might be worth confirming (or busting) this ingame - or get a canonical response from ArenaNet about it! And agree - collector items are great for heroes; but also for your character!! (you can get several items that have identical stats as greens on them - they're functional, but lack the prestige value everyone seems to prize so much) ~ JB
- You can salvage collector stuff. For instance, for free Fiery Axe Hafts, salvage the Flame Spitter. For a +25 hp sword hilt (good for heroes) and/or a 10% furious, salvage the reward from The Villainy of Galrath. I just blew up my mesmer's retired Crystal Wand to pull off my inscription the other day, so it's certainly item- and not campaign-specific. Seef II 02:21, 7 May 2007 (EDT)
