Sweet Item, now all we need is d Hall Decorations. --MageMontu 09:16, 10 February 2008 (UTC)
Where can we get a Crate of Fireworks ? There should be a paragraph about the acquisition --Donahu 15:19, 4 January 2009 (UTC)
Their acquisition is mistakenly list under the trivia section, I'll do a quick reformat --BramStoker (talk, contribs) 23:20, 4 January 2009 (UTC)
Hey thks Bram ! Strange that I didnt saw it in trivia. Anyway its perfect now :-) --Donahu 19:49, 6 January 2009 (UTC)
Anyone else reminded of Crash Bandicoot with these crates? --Smithy-Star User Smithyben sig icon.png 12:42, 24 July 2009 (UTC)

>BAM<[edit]

lol xD i first thought this could be a reference to "bam lee", but that's a regular english therm, right? —ZerphatalkThe Improver 10:05, 10 February 2008 (UTC)

lol at first I thought it was from Looney Tunes. Acme product from Willie Coyote anyone? :P --MageMontu 11:43, 10 February 2008 (UTC)

Meh, its alright[edit]

Would like to be able to use it in an explorable area, scare some local or ring in the new year but no. House Of Furyan 13:10, 10 February 2008 (UTC)

agreed. not that i only keep scaring ppl in mind...but it would have been funny using it...maybe after vanquising an area or sth like that (if i ever get to do so :P). But they possibly only made it useable for the guild hall as they had to programm those fireworks for every single hall cause of the special animations? —ZerphatalkThe Improver 15:09, 10 February 2008 (UTC)
Agreed, it's okay, but it feels like something Gaile has hyped up a little to much again. I also feel this would have been better suited as some kind of tournament reward, rather than a festival present. The majority of players attending the event are going to have no use for these things, it just feels like a present for those big guilds that occasionally have special events. I guess it's good that they tried to do something different, but they really should have stuck with the hats as well, at least everyone can use and enjoy those.
Zerpha, what a great place to have it. Vanquish your final area and celebrate. Oh, that would be sweet. House Of Furyan 11:22, 11 February 2008 (UTC)

Using multiple?[edit]

if you use multiple crates do they last longer? 20 min, etc or do they give bigger fireworks?--Elliot 13:29, 10 February 2008 (UTC)

Only one in use at a time. MystiLefemEle 09:03, 2 February 2009 (UTC)
If guild in alliance move from guild hall to guild hall lighting off fireworks (and using tonics) for party points. Ramei Arashi 23:19, 15 February 2010 (UTC)

number of uses[edit]

It'd be nice if they were a permanent item and not charged, kind of like the everlasting tonics (it's still cool though; I'll just never want to use it!). --71.240.80.160 13:34, 10 February 2008 (UTC)

....[edit]

3 party animal points...thas it? I was kinda hoping for at least 10, after all it is the festival finale gift-Warior kronos

3 points is a good number imo, 10 are too much. it gives the most points as after all it's the biggest bang of all party items. —ZerphatalkThe Improver 14:54, 10 February 2008 (UTC)

Bug?[edit]

After using this in my guild hall, my guild was kicked from our alliance... Then the guild leader of the guild leading the alliance invited us again, but the date of the invitation was 2/1/1900 !!! What's going on? --Funky Jah (talk) User Funky Jah icon.jpg 14:34, 10 February 2008 (UTC)

I'm pretty sure he accidently kicked you and reinvited you back. As for the date, it has always been like that. — Eloc 21:10, 10 February 2008 (UTC)
Well he told me he didn't and I trust him. Furthermore, he said there was nothing written in his log. And our guild leader wasn't online, so he could not have made our guild leave the alliance. By the way, when the alliance leader invited us again, it kicked one other guild from the alliance... And this is not a manipulation error, this guy knows how to click on the right button. --Funky Jah (talk) User Funky Jah icon.jpg 10:52, 12 February 2008 (UTC)
What do you mean "its always been like that"???? When has the date EVER been like that? It somehow reset, obviously, but what is more mind boggling is that the date reset to the first day of the second month of the first year in the 20th century. The game was developed in the 21st century. How on earth can you say that the date has always been like that????? Blood and Fyre 00:42, 29 October 2008 (UTC)
I'm pretty sure kicking guilds out of the alliance doesn't show up the in Guild history log. I've kicked many guilds out of my alliance in the year that I've lead one. — Eloc 05:40, 13 February 2008 (UTC)
How many guilds were in the alliance?? --Wild rituals 08:55, 13 February 2008 (UTC)
We are 4 guilds in total, they are listed here, at the bottom of the article. --Funky Jah (talk) User Funky Jah icon.jpg 13:08, 13 February 2008 (UTC)
Dude thats a weird bug alright. Something about the way it changed the date is even more weird. I'm simply amazed at how Anet can control such a large network to begin with and then they are always changing things. I'm amazed that there aren't more bugs than there are. But what gets me is that if a bug causes you to lose something very expensive then they dont' care. I lost a kuunavang to a bug once. Blood and Fyre 00:42, 29 October 2008 (UTC)

"The Firework will stop when ervyone has left the Hall or after 10 minutes as it says."[edit]

Is this accurate? If there's nobody there, who knows whether the fireworks have stopped or not? Unless the hired NPCs can tell >_>

"If a firework goes off in a forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?"

UserAegisEdesiaSig.JPG Aegis 15:01, 10 February 2008 (UTC)

Well, you could test it by setting it off when you're alone in the guild hall, mapping out, and then mapping back in. -- Hong 15:04, 10 February 2008 (UTC)

Duuuuh! I blame it on too much guild wars, too little sleep. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:AegisEdesia (talk).

likely. you forgot to sign :P —ZerphatalkThe Improver 15:12, 10 February 2008 (UTC)

Oh my god, Hahahaha! Nice to actually laugh out loud in real life after spending hours today scouring the coasts of Cantha for meal ingredients. (sp?) It was worth the score of five crates and sixteen bags for my district though! It's 10:05 am here in Canada, and the festival started at 3:00 am. Time for bed!

Only in main Base?[edit]

I tried it 5 times in d Isle of Medidation and the fireworks will only appear around d main base. Is it like that is the other halls? --MageMontu 15:37, 10 February 2008 (UTC)

No, The fireworks themselves spawn off the location of players or NPC's. If a player is say.. in the village on the other side of he hall, fireworks will spawn off their position. Magic 06:17, 2 January 2009 (UTC)

BEES[edit]

Why do BEES of all things appear during the fireworks display? it's the same in the endgame areas... I've never understood. What's so festive about bees? -Kumdori160.23.244.253 10:02, 11 February 2008 (UTC)

They're reusing the bees from Poor Tenant I'm guessing. Xapheus 01:33, 12 February 2008 (UTC)
I think its creepy. OW! its stung me!, OW, again! THEY'RE EVERYWHERE!!!!"--User Raph Sig2.jpgRaph Talky 21:58, 13 March 2008 (UTC)
My guess is the fireworks call from a random set of particle effects, one of which happens to be the Bee texture. I love fireworks bees, there should be a bee-only version. 99.251.210.141 03:41, 17 March 2011 (UTC)

lol[edit]

Got 40 crates of these and all I did was afk Rings of Fortune all weekend. A big thank you to all the people that did that questing for me.--Ryudo 19:13, 11 February 2008 (UTC)

Pictures on the page[edit]

Why there have to be two of a same pisture? - J.P.User Jope12 sigicon.pngTalk 10:08, 9 January 2009 (UTC)

Presumably, one is a picture of the inventory icon, the other is a picture of the item as it appears in the "Real world"Targren 15:26, 1 February 2009 (UTC)
Yeah, i know. There were two same guild hall images before... - J.P.ContributionsTalk 15:35, 11 October 2009 (UTC)

Fireworks visible outside GH[edit]

I was able to see fireworks animation in Maaguma Stade after setting them off in Guild Hall and traveling back there. I was doing it many time to use my Crates for title, but this happened only once. Screenshot Matek 10:24, 29 July 2009 (UTC)

Are you sure no one had used a Disco Ball in Maguuma Stade? -- Wyn User Wynthyst sig icon2.png talk 10:34, 29 July 2009 (UTC)
If think there was no one there, I chose Maguuma Stade Int-1 'cause I didn't want to wait for game to load all other players' armor textures. But you can see there's nobody except my character at the moment of making screenshot, if fireworks from Disco Ball disappear after everyone leaves district (like those from Crate of Fireworks) then it's very small chance that someone used since I stayed there less than 5 seconds before returning to Guild Hall. Matek 12:51, 29 July 2009 (UTC)
Firework Crates cannot be used outside of Guild Halls. Disco Balls do the exact same thing only they can also be used in towns/outposts but they only last for 3 minutes. There is nothing stated about the Disco Balls that say they will die out if no one is in the district. It is unknown if one will so unless someone tests it to see if it does and posts it we may not ever know. I may test it just to see sometime. 70.189.106.136 00:28, 31 December 2009 (UTC)

Err 007[edit]

I discovered this while spamming crates in a few of my my alliance's empty halls.

You will get an error 007 if you accidentally attempt to travel to the same alliance hall that you are in after repeatedly switching guild halls.

If you Error 007 while fireworks are active, and you would be the last person in the guild hall...

When you reconnect, if you enter the hall you used the fireworks in, they will still be going. 71.239.152.236 11:06, 22 June 2011 (UTC)
