[edit] formatting
I've included the text in a codeblock to preserve the formatting (the line breaks might be important to help decrypt it), but the box goes across the page. Perhaps someone with a bit more wiki knowledge than me can fix up the formatting?
[edit] General Question
What quest are this space monsters for? Ken 05:47, 2 September 2007 (UTC)
- Captain Langmar says if we find some to give them to her and she'll be decrypting them. I got one and bringing it with me when I speak to her. She doesn't notice it. Maybe it's because I got it during the preview?Zahra 20:37, 2 September 2007 (UTC)
- I'd say it's more likely she wants all of them at once. Katzchen 07:55, 6 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Aquisition
Where do you get them from? --
(gem / talk) 00:39, 7 September 2007 (UTC)
- Mine dropped off a random charr I think during the sneak peak. --Lemming

[edit] Still Dropping?
I didn't get any during the preview weekend and I see on the other wiki there is speculation whether or not these are still dropping upon release? Dancing Gnome 17:37, 7 September 2007 (UTC)
- Someone added it is not on the loot table and a use will be added in a later update, could someone tell me where this information came from? Dancing Gnome 14:26, 9 September 2007 (UTC)
- I added the source in the description of the edit I made but here it is again : User_talk:Linsey_Murdock#Encrypted_Charr_Battle_Plans --Lemming

- I was just posting to add I found the source but thanks for that. I should read changes eh?:P Dancing Gnome 14:32, 9 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Decoding
Maybe there is some phonetic thing going on? One of them seems to spell Gwen phonetically...Dancing Gnome 14:28, 9 September 2007 (UTC)
- Had the same thing in mind, but didn't have too much time to try to decipher them. --

[edit] Bug?
After giving the plans to Langmar I entered a mission but I had no full party with me so I decided to resign, grab heroes/henchman and walked out to Langmar again. I couldn't access the quest again without the plans?! He took the device + plans from me! Is this a bug or intended? Ate. (Ate of DK 00:08, 28 September 2007 (UTC))
- Same happened to me. There needs to be a warning that talking to Langmar starts a one off mission. --Xeeron 19:31, 4 October 2007 (UTC)
- This pissed me off. I discovered too late I was still in Hard mode and wasn't prepared. /resign later, I don't get the plans back...- Vanguard

[edit] So they were all pretty easy
We did all three in about 20 minutes.. very little reward, very little challenge, I was hoping for more :( --Lemming

- I guess the drops for encrypted plans will increase soon and those quests will become the equivalent of a minigame for farming vanguard points. Not so bad imho. Chriskang 00:49, 28 September 2007 (UTC)
- I still think the reward should be a bit more, considering you don't get any points while killing in the area. Something more like 2-300 points. --Lemming

- While brawling, playing polymock or joining the norn fighting tournament you don't get bonus points either. I think they made the reward to be fair with other minigames. Chriskang 00:56, 28 September 2007 (UTC)
- Yes but you do get some cool rewards from them, The norn tournament has two special items, as well as Zho's Journal, and the opportunity to get the Crown headpiece. --Lemming

- You get a point. With Special Ops you get a little gold from loot that other minigames don't have but i recognize it's not as cool as a minipet or some summon skills. Maybe the boss at the end of the Flame Temple Corridor drops a cool green weapon? Chriskang 01:09, 28 September 2007 (UTC)
- Actually the reward for all the minigames sucks. The faction rewards are way to low for the time invested. You are better off just killing some monsters under bounty. This way you not only get more faction but loot as well. 134.130.183.235 11:56, 28 September 2007 (UTC)
- It would be cool if you got some consumable or something as a reward. 58.110.140.189 07:39, 29 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Non-Prophecy Access
Is this the first time access to an area of the game is given to people who don't own that campaign? I know they can't explore it like a prophecy person can but they can still see areas of Ascalon without owning Prophecy? I don't recall anything else like this. 58.110.140.189 07:43, 29 September 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Ascalonian Chests
Opened a chest in the Dragon's Gullet quest and got a purple with no mods to identify. Was it a fluke, or some bug with the area? --24.179.151.252 00:31, 3 October 2007 (UTC)
- I had the exact same happening to me. --

[edit] Stackable
Really? If so, I doubt that different versions stack with eachother. -- Gordon Ecker 07:35, 3 May 2008 (UTC)
- These don't stack even if they have the same message. Tedium 07:51, 3 May 2008 (UTC)
