yep, most people thing it reduces your total damage not just base weapon damage. Leet for just about anybody except hammer wars and dervishes. The 33% attack speed increese actually totals to somewhere around 150% dmg. -25% makes this skill an awesome adrenaline builder. --Lou-Saydus 00:26, 8 January 2008 (UTC)
i actually think this is wrong:/ gonna test it soon, because before, i used way more attacks with this IAS as withouth ias :s Close Impact 19:02, 20 May 2008 (UTC)
Just incase anyone was wondering 0.75 x 1.333.. = 1 So the change is well... negated.Sparhawk 21:45, 1 June 2008 (UTC)
actually, as stated above, a 33% attack speed increase actually increases the number of attacks by 50%, so it results in 112.5% damage. Twiggie 15:45, 3 July 2008 (UTC)
Ladies, ladies, let me handle this! 33% faster for a weapon that attacks once every 1.33 (your not using this with a hammer are you?) seconds. That means it now attacks once every 0.89 seconds. Which is just over 50% faster than before. So it's 1.5x0.75, which is = 1.125 of your normal damage. BUT THIS SKILL STILL SUCKS. Why? BECAUSE OF THE ENEMIES ARMOR!!! Bisurge 02:42, 17 July 2008 (UTC)
Right, because anyone who'd consider bringing this skill is simply swinging without +damage. What really needs to be noted is its short duration; maintaining this stance becomes very costly in the long term, and should be saved for builds with efficient energy management. Oh, and for those building for pve, asuran scan is a wonderful counterbalance to this skill. Again, for builds with great energy management.--72.78.235.192 02:40, 31 October 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Curses Necromancer

If you're not locked on a secondary, this is hilarious when coupled with a spear and Mark of Pain or Barbs. -- euphoracle | talk 22:08, 20 November 2008 (UTC)

triple shot>dual shot is better IHMO(idk if pve skills were at 20november2008) --Bargaw 19:13, 6 May 2009 (UTC)

[edit] The math behind flurry

Correct me if I'm wrong here, but if you didn't use attack skills, I believe it would work out like this: 100%(your regular dps)+33%=133%(which is about 4x33%) | 133%-25% of 133%(which is about 33%)=100%. I'm not sure but thats what I would think. PLS tell me if im right or if im just completely stupid!!--Cowabunga 13:57, 23 May 2009 (GMT+1)

You are wrong, a 33% IAS increases your DPS by 50%. 33% IAS means that the activation time of an attack skill or the attack interval is reduced by 33%, which means your attack rate is actually increased by 1/0.66=1.5. Misery 15:26, 26 May 2009 (UTC)

You're right thx!
