- Waiting for this. Considering the tone of the es, I'll conclude it was trolling else. Backsword 05:40, 15 June 2008 (UTC)
""Flux" is probably a reference to the famous Flux Capacitor used in the De Lorean time machine in the Back to the Future film trilogy." lol no, flux is just a real word. |Nalana

- Actually, it wouldn't surprise me if it WAS a reference to the Flux Capacitor. It's not like it's obscure. SarielV

[edit] Hurts everyone now
At least as of today, the filled Flux Matrix hurts players, etc. when dropped. I have no idea if this is intended or a bug, but it confused the hell out of me when doing The Elusive Golemancer. If someone knows where to ask about this and could do so, that'd be great. Capcom 12:41, 19 June 2009 (UTC)
- I'll mention it on the bug page... thanks for the catch MrPaladin talk 12:45, 19 June 2009 (UTC)
- yeah i get dmg now too, didnt had that before InfestedHydralisk 18:42, 19 June 2009 (UTC)
- I went from a 6% morale boost to 24% death penalty because of this thing. I actually used to like using the Flux Matrix on the 'Indestructible' Golem, but now its more of a punishment than anything. - Ara ~ A R A ~ 20:53, 19 June 2009 (UTC)

[edit] Flux capasitor
Any trivia relate to the flux capasitor from the "Back to the future" movie series... 1.21 Jigawatts seems like a huge amount. I am aware however that flux is a common term in physics and it may just be a direct relation to the term... MrPaladin talk 19:15, 19 June 2009 (UTC)
- For the record, "Jigawatts" is a funky pronounciation of "Gigawatts" (see here). Also, 1.21 Gigawatts - thought at the time of making of the Back to the Future series to be a large amount of power - is, in fact, not all that much. Sure, it's a large amount, but nowhere near as hard to create as they thought: the producers just wanted something that sounded impressive. Anyway, no, I don't think there's a huge correlation there. Sorry. It was an amusing thought, though. --
