Progression[edit]

Copied from here: Before we add these, how is attribute progression going to be handled? As far as I know, current templates use 0..15, but these are dependant on sunspear rank, which is obviously 0..10. AT(talk | contribs) 23:39, 15 June 2007 (UTC)

Yeah, it's really 0..10. But the problem is that we don't know the values of 0 to calculate the rest. poke | talk 12:41, 16 June 2007 (UTC)

Being anal retentive[edit]

A very small thing, but...Does someone else think this page should be named "Sunspear skills" as opposed to "Sunspear skill"? That's bugging me, but I don't want to make the change (or rather the move) before reading what people think. Erasculio 17:08, 27 June 2007 (UTC)

Agree, except to capitalize the 'S': Sunspear Skills.Oye 07:43, 8 July 2007 (UTC)
Not sure of the exact article naming format about the s at the end of skill but I know the policy says that skill should be lowercase. --Sktbrd341 07:46, 8 July 2007 (UTC)
Pretty sure things are supposed to be in the singular (with very few exceptions). The article is about what a Sunspear skill is, so I don't see why it not being plural is an issue. Capcom 07:54, 8 July 2007 (UTC)

No longer available?[edit]

I was trying to pick up Eternal Aura and found none of the hero skill trainers in NF have it. Same with the other Sunspear skills. I still have Whirlwind Attack on my warrior, which I learned sometime ago, so they clearly haven't been removed from the game... they just appear to be unlearnable. Any ideas? --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:81.156.169.150 (talk).

Are the characters rank 2 and above in sunspear? Dominator Matrix 21:40, 29 November 2008 (UTC)
Just tried it, haven't got any problem learning Eternal Aura on my Warrior. --Arduinna talk 21:44, 29 November 2008 (UTC)
Odd. And nope, my warrior has Legendary Spearmarshal so that can't be the issue. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:81.156.169.150 (talk).
Its a PvE Skill, not a hero skill. So you can't get it for your heros. Try the spearmarshal guy. Dominator Matrix 22:09, 29 November 2008 (UTC)
Quoting from this article: "Sunspear skills are PvE-only skills available to people who own the Nightfall campaign. They cost Hero skill points, and are available from the Hero skill trainers at Kamadan, the Sunspear Great Hall, and the Command Post." If you mean Runduk in the Sunspear Great Hall, he offers no skills aside from the rebirth signet as far as I know. At least, he offers me no skills.
Your problem is that you're trying to access the Dervish skills and not the Sunspear skills, listed at the top of the list. I had this problem less than 30 seconds ago.

Have you checked both Pikin and Shiloh? Change your secondary profession to an appropriate one and go to either Kamadan or Sunspear Great Hall and look for these NPC. --NIN37 22:20, 29 November 2008 (UTC)
Restarted the game and I found it. Not sure if it was a glitch or if I'm going prematurely senile. Either way, thanks for the help, guys. --The preceding unsigned comment was added by User:81.156.169.150 (talk).
There is a bug that causes Sunspear skills to vanish from the selection menus for unknown reasons. Typically, one or two skills will simply not be available even though they should be. Every mention I've seen about this issue always comes up with the following workaround: Restart Guild Wars and the problem just goes away. -- WarBlade 22:46, 29 November 2008 (UTC)

Requirements[edit]

In addition to having acquired Sunspear Sergeant you need to have picked a secondary profession. Perhaps we should not this in the article? 188.192.104.64 10:53, 11 December 2011 (UTC)
