Template talk:Diffwith

Does anyone else feel that this template works backwards? It places the current document being viewed on the left, and the original source document on the right. To me, to be consistent with viewing differences via the "history" tab, this should be the other way around. --- Barek (talkcontribs) - 22:37, 14 November 2007 (UTC)

Not possible as we have no method to get the revision of the original unchanged page.. poke | talk 22:39, 14 November 2007 (UTC)
Maybe by DPL though.. poke | talk 22:39, 14 November 2007 (UTC)
This template doesn't seem to be working. -- Gordon Ecker 05:21, 13 April 2008 (UTC)

Javascript fix[edit]

I just added a javascript function to the wiki which should reintroduce the functionality of this template. If there are any bugs, please report here. :) poke | talk 12:55, 28 May 2008 (UTC)

Page needs to be saved[edit]

It should also be noted that the page needs to be saved for this to work, simply previewing the page does not (for some reason) show the differences. It just shows the differences with itself (ie. shows same revision twice and tries to compare them). -- My Talk Lacky 08:41, 2 November 2009 (UTC)

I have added a note about it. Perhaps someone wishes to possibly phrase it better if need be? -- My Talk Lacky 08:44, 2 November 2009 (UTC)
It was already noted in the description. poke | talk 16:36, 2 November 2009 (UTC)
Huh...I could have sworn that wasn't there before... -- My Talk Lacky 05:30, 3 November 2009 (UTC)
The history will prove you wrong. poke | talk 09:57, 3 November 2009 (UTC)
