Guild page

Is your guild The Devils Toybox or Devils Toybox ? you created both guild pages, but listed the same person as the leader for both, so I assumed you had added the The by mistake, but then realized you have both listed on your userpage. -- Wyn talk 23:56, 25 August 2009 (UTC)

yes thats exactly what happened. I do intend to use the other page for something else. The guild leader has informed me that they want to remain Anonymous so I am going to have to change both anyway. When I created the first one I did not know that the link on the F10 key was Different so that is the reason I made the second one. Actually I am not even sure I am replying to this correctly either, I am new to this. I was admiring your templates and I think I would like to use them. I have been using a binder for the past few years for my characters and I can't believe that I had not used something like this before. I guess I need to work on a signature too...lol. I appreciate the help and like the fact that someone is actually watching these pages.

Our guild leader has said that they will participate in our guild page. I have placed a png of our cape on the guild page. I am having trouble with a text that is behind the picture. I am not sure how to correct it. --user:tbox875 14:18, 27 August 2009 (UTC)

I figured it out after messing with it for a bit. Wyn, I looked at your user space a bit and I think I like some of the Templates on it. I am sure that I can utalize them as many others have and I will be sure to give full credit to you on every page I use. I noticed that you have a projects page of guilds and users. I was wondering if you could help me and our guild if we had any questions on how to create pages. I think I can figure most of it out but I wanted just to have someone to back me up if it is needed. Sure Tbox, the best way to ask me a question is to put it on my userpage (just click on the Talk link in my signature), then I get the notice I have a new message. All of my templates are there for you/the community to use so feel free, if you have any questions about how to use them just ask, and also check out our Help center, it contains easy to follow guides on a lot of the basics. There is also our helper program where experienced users have made themselves available to the community to help, and our Help:Ask a wiki question page where you can post any general wiki questions and the whole community will jump in with answers. -- Wyn talk 19:06, 27 August 2009 (UTC)

Image naming

Hey Tbox! Our Image use policy indicated the proper format for naming user page images is User Username Imagename.extension You are missing the whole Username part of it. Your images should be named User Tbox875 Imagename.jpg. You can rename them by simply using the move tab at the top. It happened because you didn't fill in the Username variable of my character template :P -- Wyn talk 23:07, 31 August 2009 (UTC)

Ok I think I got them all, good grief even here these characters are troublesome. I thought it was only in Tyria :p . I am figuring all this out as I go and I was actually expecting that I would be getting more snaggs. I can't wait to get all of my stuff up here. Thank you for being here to help. Means a lot and its good to know that someone else is as passionate about this as I am. I have to admit I am taking a lot of your templates but you have almost verbatum what I have in my 3" binder (yes it is a 3" binder)for my characters. It is pretty tattered so this is a great way to get rid of it and still keep my accomplishments close at hand. Oh before I forget I have to ask a question about your hero template you have for your derv and the rest of your characters. I noticed that you have a link that shows all of their weapons and armor upgrades and another for just the armor. I would like to add it to the current character pages I have. I could just copy and change the images and etc. which is fine but I was wondering if you had a blank of each page instead. Thank you for using the template. I honestly thought that no one would use it but me. By all means, please do. I am glad to see that you like it. I have not viewed it in a long time and I am not sure that it is up to date. If you find anything that needs to updated let me know. I am currently updating my Guild Wars 2 wiki and that's the only reason I logged on here. I have been thinking about going over my pages and updating it anyway in the next few months. Thanks! It's been super useful for organizing my green collection! As for updates, a few notes: I'm going through it, and so far I've found that Aegis of Clarity, Gesshoku, and Xun Rao's Quill are not entered, so I'm guessing none of the Winds of Change weapons have been added. Also, Edielh's Focus is misspelled (as Ediehl's Focus, so it redirects), and the two Stonebreakers (axe and hammer) each go to the disambig page, though the wand version goes to the correct page. Hi! I just popped on back to check things out, and I saw that you were recently active too. If you're still interested in updating the unique item templates, may I make a few requests for changes if you have the time? First, would you mind adding the weapons in Category:Winds of Change unique items to the templates? There are a few in already (such as the ones mentioned above), but most are not, and it would be cool to be able to add them. I think there are 20 unadded, plus the Imperial Dragon Weapons.

Second, in your warrior template, I get the error message "Warning: User:Ailina/Weapons is calling User:Tbox875/template/wunique with more than one value for the "The Stonebreaker" parameter. Only the last value provided will be used."

This is because both the axe and the hammer are just referencing the link The Stonebreaker, so the template sees them as one call. Would you mind changing the axe version to The Stonebreaker, and the hammer version to The Stonebreaker? Thanks! Ailina (talk) 21:06, 7 September 2017 (UTC)

I apologize for the delay in replying. The Halloween season for me starts in late August and it is chaotic until the end of the year. I actually jumped on here to see if my hats were up to date and they are not. Since I was able to fix the "Stonebreaker" issue relatively quickly I went ahead and addressed them. As for the remaining issues and my personal pages here, they will have to wait till early to mid January. I have just made a note for my self to go over my wiki pages then. As it stands now I cannot provide proper attention or time to them to make sure I do it right. Hope you understand and thank you again for using my creation Muhahahaha.....um uh ....sorry. (If I haven't figured it out / gotten to it by the time you're back to wiki editing though, your additions would be much appreciated. No stress on timing of course.) By all means, use anything you like to create pages for yourself. That is how I got started honestly. It became easier as I tinkered with the coding and templates. Over the last few days I have compiled a list of the items that I need to add for all the unique items pages. I am thinking about adding "Pre-order Items" to the pages as well since they are special. I was able to complete the Warrior page today. :)

I believe I got all the coding correct. If there is anything that you notice that is wrong let me know. I arranged all of it alphabetically (not sure why I had not before because I typically would not.) and changed some of the wording of some items (Ie. The Forgotten Shields). I went through with a fine tooth comb and believe to have found all errors on every one of my Unique pages. If you find anything let me know but I feel pretty confident that everything is in order. I am glad I did because I found one (out of all 11 pages) that did not work. It was a simple thing of a capital letter vs. a lower case. lol
