"Armor of past heroes" (Discussion)

An armor choice for Guild Wars 2 could be that based on NPCs of the original game. For example, Warriors may have armor similar to Koss or Devonna's armor. This is an excellent connection to the past heroes.

"NPC" armor may be crafted from a specific armorer, or obtained through a series of quests having to do with the associated NPC the armor is based on.

Issues being that the armor is human-only, and is automatically customized upon acquisition.

Why this is a good idea

•  Unique to any MMORPG.
•  Pays homage to the original Guild Wars.

Why it may not work out

•  Most NPC armor would have no headgear.
