- As is Anthony Hopkins (one of the finest living actors today), as was Richard Burton (actor) and Dylan Thomas (poet) and a lot of famous people. For a small country, Wales has produced quite a few sons and daughters of great renown. -- Gaile 21:18, 28 June 2008 (UTC)
- that would be cool.. with like a norn, singing stuff or something..
- These are lovely notes, Spider osiris. I'm very proud of my Welsh heritage, and it's great that you included these ideas here! I love the Welsh traditions of song -- I don't know there is anything more beautiful-sounding than a Welsh chorus. And you know, I'm sad when I think about what Edward I of England did to the Welsh, but I have to admit he did build some fine, fine castles there. Like Harlech, Caernarfon, and I think my personal fave: Caerphilly. *sniff* Now I really, really want to go back there! -- Gaile 21:18, 28 June 2008 (UTC)
- Torchwood. It just occurred to me (and I love that show). Torchwood was a kind of working title for a spin off show from Doctor Who (note the anagram) and the name just stuck. While the Doctor travels through time and space the Torchwood Institute is mostly fixed within Cardiff. Both shows are filmed in Wales. -- WarBlade 11:31, 29 June 2008 (UTC)
