A copy of Scourge Healing.
Suggestion
Elite Hex Spell. For 5 seconds, every time target foe is healed, the healer is knocked down. 15 energy, 2 cast, 15/20 second recharge.

Readem's Issue

Issue
Overpowered. Does more damage than backfire; costs less energy; can be reapplied almost instantaneously; duration of 30 seconds.
Suggestion
Reduce duration to about 15. Lower Damage. Increase recharge to 10.

  • You fail mathematics. Backfire is 147 damage, soul bind is less than 90.

Elite Hex Spell. For 5...15...17 seconds, target foe cannot gain more than 50...30...25% health from any one source.

New functionality

We already have a skill for this.
Suggestion
Make it a counter to broken builds. 10e 1s 6r "For 1...8...11 seconds, target foe attacks 25% slower. If that foe was attacking, all of that foe's weapon attributes are reduced by 4."
Note that the attributes are reduced by 4, making this incredibly effective against builds that rely on their secondary profession. Secondary profession attributes have a maximum value of 12, this reduces them to 8, so they cannot meet their requirements with PvP equipment.

Issue
  • I don't understand why this spell is currently an elite version of Scourge Healing. It doesn't make sense at all and doesn't fit the role of a Necromancer. Not to mention it's barely even better than Scourge Healing and takes up the elite slot.
  • I propose that this skill causes the enemy to sacrifice life whenever they cast a spell. This actually gives some meaning to that Smiting Prayers skill Scourge Sacrifice.
  • This would also be a cool mechanic to offer in a hex and would fit right into a Necromancer's curses build alongside Mark of Subversion or Mesmer skills like Backfire.
Suggestion

10 Energy2 Activation time5 Recharge time - Elite Hex Spell. (20 seconds.) Whenever target foe casts a spell, that foe sacrifices 5...13...15% life.

Issue
  • I prefer to make Soul Bind to be a COMBINED VERSION OF SCOURGE HEALING AND SCOURGE ENCHANTMENT since this elite skill doesn't work with OTHER monk hexes. I think this would be a GREAT suggestion for Soul Bind.
