Then why not nerf Ebon Dust Aura as well?

no thats a stupid idea, this is an assissin single target spike assist, the spihons are to track down and to kill lone melee targets, thsi skill has no use anywhere else, keep it that way, 1vs1 builds, why would any1 actually care about this skill, ive never seen it on pvx wiki, but i use it alot in pvp Shadowshock 18:39, 23 July 2008 (UTC)

And PvX is god, mirite? Seriously, use this in an original way, and it can be quite powerful against any melee. Siphon's are meant for two things- spike priming, and defense assisting. They aren't meant to be used to "track down and to kill lone melee targets". They're meant to keep you safe during a spike on a melee, even one in a group. And as to the "why would any1 actually care about this skill", we care because we like a little something called variety and choice. I think it could use a buff. However, I think the general functionality of the skill should be kept. Some ideas are to decrease th energy, recharge, or cast time, and perhaps buffing the crit chance or changing the second part of the skill to be and your attacks deal +whatever against that foe. this is my fav skill, what SS meant was that, the spihons are to snare lone melee targets with a spike assist, this skill is fine recharege and nrg are to high for high end pvp, thsi si good in low end tho, needs a massive buff for PVE cos -50dmg isnt much in Hm, AoE for PVE would be sick tho Annoying And Deadly 23:13, 10 September 2008 (UTC)
Please, type intelligently. Attempting to decipher that, what I got is that you think "SS" was right with the whole "Spike assist" idea? Shadowshock is going on about how it's meant to "track down and kill lone melee targets", and I was pointing out that these give no way to "track" targets. This one enables you to protect yourself from physical damage from a single source and prime a spike that uses Black prefix skills or Iron Palm. Siphon Speed is to keep them in the spike, or to escape. This skill, specifically, is not a "spike assist". It is a spike starter and a defense skill. The +crit chance barely matters, since it only affects you, and in addition, stacking crit chance skills is idiotic, since you get less of a return than you would just causing more damage. To the IP above Annoying's post, I agree with you. The functionality is interesting, and this is one skill where a number tweak would make it usable. The +x damage idea is also very good, since it would drastically improve the skill.
One last though would be combining this with a slight- 15-25%- snare, since making someone weaker would technically make them move slower, and it would drastically improve the skill. --Kalas Silvern 05:37, 23 September 2008 (UTC)
