There are dozens of awful skills, and some not-working/broken ones, so here are a few suggestions.
Warriors[edit]
- Unlinked
- "You're All Alone!" — crippled now covers weakness
Elementalists[edit]
- Energy Storage
- Glyph of Energy — +2...4...4 to elemental attributes.
- Water Magic
- Mist Form — changed to: ¼ cast time, 2 second duration. 10 energy cost. spells and skills targeting the user have a 50% chance to miss or fail. failed attacks and spells cause a (water magic zero spec) 2 second Ice Spikes at the foe (adjacent foes are also hexed). user moves 50% faster for duration of spell.
- Shatterstone — death while under the effects of this hex now triggers damage.
Ritualists[edit]
- Channeling
- Spirit Siphon — only usable if spirits are within earshot.
- Communing
- Weapon of Fury — Move to communing. 10 energy cost. 5...13...15 sec duration. Remove energy gain. Every 3rd attack inflicts Binding Chains on the target (at same communing rank). Adjacent foes to target are unaffected by binding chains.
- Wanderlust — currently lasts for about 7 strikes at decent communing and spawning power. lower health loss to 40...28...25
- Restoration Magic
- Preservation — heals only allies who are not at maximum health.
- Spawning Power
- Attuned Was Songkai — non-offensive skills with cast times over ½ sec cast twice as fast. energy reduced as current.
- Ritual Lord — +2...4...4 to next binding ritual, skill is not consumed if next skill is not a binding ritual. same recharge reduction + instant recharge.
- Reclaim Essence — all binding rituals within earshot are destroyed, the user gains 5 energy for each destroyed. After 5 seconds, all of the destroyed spirits are recreated at your location (with previous remaining durations). 20 sec recharge.
- Wielder's Zeal — weapon spells cast cost 10...50...60% less energy, but recharge 50% quicker.
Dervishes[edit]
- Earth Prayers
- Ebon Dust Aura — duration lowered to 15 sec. Causes 3 sec blind every 5th attack (attack, not hit). Also applies to ranged weapons once again.
- Scythe Mastery
- Wounding Strike — deep wound now covers bleeding.
Problems[edit]
- prep area - not actual suggestions.
Skills that are so bad I've barely ever used/not ever used them. Alternatively they might be skills that are harder to adjust reasonably.
- Fox's Promise - can be blinded?.. enchantment asuran scan.
- Golden Skull Strike - elite with 4s daze duration, can be blocked
- Seeping Wound - issues: 15 energy cost, duration
- Shadow Prison
- Siphon Strength - issues: energy cost, cast time. make it 1/4 sec cast, lower the damage reduction to 5...33...40, increase critical chance to 10...50...60%, make it 5 sec cost.
- Way of the Empty Palm
- Ward Against Harm
- Mantra of Recall - battles are over quicker nowadays, make it 5e cost and 15sec duration? also make it a stance.
- Power Flux - -2 energy degen.. would be awesome if it actually set the energy regeneration to -2 degen instead of added to it.
- Power Leech - steal energy on cast is counter to every rupt mesmer instinct.
- Symbols of Inspiration
- Shatter Storm - needs an interesting effect.
- Amity
- Healer's Covenant - totally outclassed by Selfless Spirit.
- Healing Hands - currently weaker than Seed of Life.
- Healing Light - 1 sec cast time
- Scribe's Insight - could not care less about energy when my bar revolves about signets.
- Word of Censure - fireball.
- Withdraw Hexes - recharge should have a cap of 5+15 sec.
- Animate Flesh Golem - last time you saw this?
- Depravity
- Reaper's Mark - necros have soul reaping. this is like one death.
- Plague Signet
- Soul Leech
- Virulence - probably needs a lower recharge (weak compared to Oppressive Gaze)
- Well of Power
- Wither
- Angelic Bond
- Anthem of Fury
- Anthem of Guidance
- Crippling Anthem - lower cast time / make it trigger on regular attacks?
- Soldier's Fury - reapply when shout/chant ends.
- Equinox - overcast is OP, but can't give everyone it when casting can we
- Ferocious Strike - scavenger's strike's retarded older brother.
- Melandru's Arrows - everyone uses glass arrows if ever
- Quicksand
- Spirit Light Weapon - so many interesting weapon skills, this one is so boring
- "Victory Is Mine!"
- Bull's Charge - maybe IAS 25% as well as IMS, KD moving targets, ends if target is KD.
- Decapitate - I don't want to have to bring ether signet to fix my bar up afterwards
- Eviscerate - power creep?
- Cleave - Keen Chop might be better damage
