What, are you kidding me? No skill update. They just released a new video for Guild Wars 2 today but no.....they couldn't do the once every two month skill update they promised. It's been almost three months now <.< VeilofDhoom 03:01, 9 December 2009 (UTC)
That's because skill updates are usually the second Thursday of the month. Wisteria
even though the bi-monthly skill update should have happened last month.24.233.254.51 04:38, 9 December 2009 (UTC)

Yup...and that meands =D=D=D muhahahhaa SF nerf in two days!!!Novos 03:16, 9 December 2009 (UTC)
GG for your ignorance and stupidity. If you were tuned in to recent postings here and the wiki you'd realize the update is scheduled just shortly later. Regina posted that the maps would be rotated this month as well as a few other things before the skill balance was issued. You also have to remember that the teams can only work on so many projects at once. Regina stated that since the team was focusing mostly on the UW buffs as well as a few other projects that the skills update/ai tweaks/bug fixes would be bumped to later weeks. And since the update was bumped they were working to make it relatively bigger then a regular update. Lastly, it should be noted that all updates that had considerable changes have been and most likely will be implemented on Thursdays. So quit your bitching: play the free to play game or quit. I paid about $200 to play Guild Wars. Maybe you're thinking of Runescape? User Felix Omni Signature.pngelix Omni 05:30, 9 December 2009 (UTC)
It cost money to buy the game yes but you bought the game in it's current state. The updates were bonus. Magic User Magic Icon.jpg Talk 06:19, 9 December 2009 (UTC)
On a side note which is only someone related.. WoW you have to buy as well as P2P making the context above is "free the play".Magic User Magic Icon.jpg Talk 06:27, 9 December 2009 (UTC)
I bought the game in its previously enjoyable, non-power creeped, non-ruined state. The updates merit a refund. Free-to-play mmos are free client, free account, cash shop. Guild Wars is not free to play. User Felix Omni Signature.pngelix Omni 06:32, 9 December 2009 (UTC)
^ The reason I originally bought this game was the lack of monthly fees, but that didn't get me hooked. Back then it was the game where I could join HoH PUGs as Healing Hands wammo. And yet my graphics card couldn't even draw the textures properly... Today I have to blow through half of the game to get imba PvE-skills to join PvE PUGs (if I wanted, but who needs human players when you have imba heroes?), and I can't play wammo anymore without being laughed and kicked out of the party. =((( Mediggo 11:13, 9 December 2009 (UTC)
I lolled at wammo, nice joke ! Reaper of Scythes User Reaper of ScythesJuggernaut1.png Talk 11:30, 9 December 2009 (UTC)

That was funny!!!! LOL - Mini Me talk 15:04, 9 December 2009
I totally agree with Magic's comments above. You have all bought the initial game/cd/keys to play the 3 campaigns + 1 expansion, but never asked for any recurrent cost. If one needs additional slots or goddies (wings/sex change) its a small thing which is not necessary. I like to see my credit card not being billed by my favorite game each and every month's statment :) -- Pixy | Talk User pixy hand.png 16:11, 9 December 2009 (UTC)
But we havent asked for them to shot themselves in the foot by releasing updates that make the game that liitle bit more imba and that little bit more broken either, like the de-nerf of sf a while back that crashed the gw economy within a few days for what? for an imba skill that people are still wanting fixed? I understand that they are trying to improve the game and make things more enjoyable for the players but they change too much too quickly and are ending up ruining the game. a skill update should be looked at verry carefully and focusing on 1 or 2 skills every month insted of a handfull of skills monthly like they were doing and as Felix Omni said this amount of upset to the game and its players merits a refund.--Azreal of SkyrimUser Azreal of skyrim signature.jpg 18:18, 9 December 2009 (UTC)

Two things... 1ST, and for the 50th time, Skill Updates are on the 2nd OR 3rd Thursday of the month. 2ND, ANET has confirmed there will be future content updates corresponding with GW2 to introduce more story lines for that game. - SabreWolf 22:20, 9 December 2009 (UTC)

...and lol @ refund. Oh come on if anyone wants a refund (which is void the first time you enter the key (read the eula), ok remember the 33% depreciation every year for computer thingies... therefore you get € 0 for it haha! -- Pixy | Talk User pixy hand.png 07:05, 10 December 2009 (UTC)

Is there a ghost update in Dec 09? --TeaCat._. User RedTeaCat TeaCat.jpg 07:33, 10 December 2009 (UTC)

Yes, there was a small (1 file replace) undocumented update today. 12/09 — PmaN  07:53, 10 December 2009 (UTC)

Sabre, don't bother arguing with these idiots :D -- Bazaah 173.14.27.105 14:08, 10 December 2009 (UTC)
Oh sorry i think i edited on the wrong wiki, i thought this was a wiki for people who actualy still play the game and acctualy give a dam about it, sorry my bad. @SabreWolf, I think or at least hope everybody already knows about the dates that the updates go out but the thing is that they still havent had one for a few months now just because theyve focused their atention on adding pvp henchmen, updateing uw, the test crew and most importantly gw2, but the thing is that the first 2 on the list is all good and nice but its like covering a lump of mud in dimonds, at the end of the day its still mud, we would rather have the game fixed properly by fixing the imba skills in question then have quick fixes disguised as new content.
@Pixy, have you ever heard of reading in between the lines? come on of course we know we wouldnt get a refund hence the reason we are saying it rarther than doing it, the fact is that we are saying that the game is in such a state that if this was any other game like CoD for example, they would of given us a refund already, thats if they screwed up the game this bad. serriously gw was ment to be a fun, balanced and anti grind game but even after 4 years it still isnt.
And finaly @Bazaah, lol if people didnt argue or disagree then where would humanity be? if people didnt argue their ideas and thoughts then we would still be stuck with the same old ideologys and beliefs that people had in the dark ages, and next time you have the bright idea to come up with stupid comments like that remember to keep them to yourself.--Azreal of SkyrimUser Azreal of skyrim signature.jpg 16:16, 10 December 2009 (UTC)
This page is for comments on the content of the article it's attached to. If you have general comments on the status of game updates, they should go on Feedback talk:Game updates. I don't see that the MAT rotations have anything to do with any of the discussion currently taking place here. If you have general comments on the overall state of the game itself, I suggest you take it to a fansite forum somewhere, as it doesn't belong here. Thanks! -- Wyn User Wynthyst sig icon2.png talk 17:49, 10 December 2009 (UTC)
we are commenting on the contents of the article. Or mor specific the lack thereof. but wat's the harm anyway? on a more serious note just hold your breath. they either nerf it before christmas to prevent farming of holiday drops and such or after christmas to let you have one last holiday :p Rhonin Soren 20:47, 10 December 2009 (UTC)
Well, i suspect nothing is going to happen to SF (again) because Anet seems to love it so much, I just hope they change some imba pvp skills this time like new b spike, R/A's menacing HoH, hexway(STILL!), and other overpowered skills which will be probably overnerfed and will never see play again, yay im so happy /endsarcasm Tyraelxy 21:30, 10 December 2009 (UTC)

So no SF nerfation?--99.243.162.52 02:51, 11 December 2009 (UTC)
