On the same note, how does anet schedule any release? Has anyone else looked at dates they have released each gw2 profession on? If they truly plan on rolling out this game in december, they are going to have to start making much more frequent announcements. Nothing wrong with that, expcept its effing frustrating. All they need to do is release a profession once a month, on a nice schedule, and gw would be a happy place. All of this WiK stuff is on the same lines, they could simply put information out at intervals, but instead they seem to be stock piling it. Probably to drop a huge update on us all at once. Whats wrong with that? Nothing, except its effing frustrating. rageragerage Siris/talk 05:02, 25 June 2010 (UTC)
- Crappyilylyy :D Needs moar release on War Chronicles too.. last one - June 2nd. --122.111.184.252 08:46, 25 June 2010 (UTC)

- That's just someone making things up. No-one from ArenaNet has said anything about any release date for Guild Wars 2. It could be December 2010, it could be April 2011, it could be April 2012 - there hasn't been any indication from ArenaNet on any figures for a release date for the game. There was an NCSoft document for investors that said something about Guild Wars 2 around 2011 but that was last year and no official date has been given. 58.110.140.246 13:31, 25 June 2010 (UTC)
- Actually in one of the blogs they said the expected release date is within late 2010 to early 2011, Straight from the mouth of one of the Anet employees that were interviewed. Ill try to find the source later if peeps dont believe me (though you should if your keeping up with the blogs)--Neithan Diniem 16:20, 25 June 2010 (UTC)
- Not remotely a confirmed date, but shortly after the news about the demos came out, Amazon changed the delivery date on the GW2 pre-order to November 2nd. The timing of that changes give me hope, but of course there's no official date set yet. -- FreedomBound 16:29, 25 June 2010 (UTC)
- Gamestop actually has on it's site "Pre-order Ships 11/2/2010" of course we all know how accurate THAT can be -_-BurrTheKing 16:38, 25 June 2010 (UTC)
- If we time the release of the professions, we get about 1 month and 1 week between the first two, which would set the possible beta around this time next year, looking for a mid-late 2011 release <June-September> <this is just a GUESS at the timing based upon release of information pattern trending=) Rogueonion 17:21, 25 June 2010 (UTC)
- I am SOOO looking forward to WiC (War in Cantha) and WiE (War in Elona). There is plenty of time for that still until GW2 is out. SO no need to to stretch WiK that long. The other continents go through some changes, too until GW2 timeline starts. Bring it on! ~ Dragon 17:41, 25 June 2010 (UTC)
- I highly doubt those'll happen. I mean, it's WiKryta, not WiTyria. ThrainFile:User Thrain Sig.pngcontribs 00:16, 26 June 2010 (UTC)
- I also highly doubt we'd see similar war events unfolding in Cantha and Elona. While Kryta will be heavily featured in GW2, Cantha and Elona will not be. --Adul 00:23, 26 June 2010 (UTC)
- The source of my december quote? not sure, its for no means accurate but it seems to be the consensus all of the unofficial dates are leaning towards: interviews, beta, pre-orders. i just said december because its easier to believe in a date than believe in "soon". If they try something like WiK in cantha or elona it would just end up being a cheap knock of something we've done before or even WiK itself. Not enough man power :[. Imagine the transfer areas when taking a new character between continents. You always seem to end up doing the same things over and over to "unlock" the city.. rageragerage, i feel betterish. Who was banned[edit]
in the wiki troll purge? anyone? Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ аІiсә ѕνәи Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ 02:48, 25 June 2010 (UTC)
- What wiki troll purge? Satrec Pylonag 06:52, 25 June 2010 (UTC)
- You mean the pruning? That happened a while ago, I thought most of them left since they didn't feel wanted. Previously Unsigned 07:38, 25 June 2010 (UTC)
- User:Pling/Pruning has a list with easy access to the block logs of the affected individuals. Most of the blocks have expired at this point (and most of them have since edited). -- FreedomBound 13:44, 25 June 2010 (UTC)

Texmod[edit]
Anyone else's Texmod files not working after this update? I select my .tpf files and launch the game, but the effects don't show up. Was wondering if this is happening to anyone else. 65.1.225.231 17:13, 25 June 2010 (UTC)
- My texmod is working like it should, at least for cartography. Just checked. ~ Dragon 17:36, 25 June 2010 (UTC)
- Not sure if this has anything to do with it, but mission-map no longer works in guild halls (it deffinatly worked before this update), maybe a related texture change? 188.222.77.162 23:45, 25 June 2010 (UTC)
- Texmod doesn't work when you freshly updated your files... restart Guild Wars, then it should work... it gets problems with older ATI cards too... --Kali Shin Shivara 00:28, 26 June 2010 (UTC)
- I've done that several times, to no avail. I'm on an Nvidia Geforce 8800 GTX. 65.1.225.231 16:59, 26 June 2010 (UTC)
Keystone Signet, Symbolic Celerity, Monk Smite Signets[edit]
This combination doesn't work... I've played this combination + Life Bond and symbolic celerity to buff my smite signets in RA... I never get an interrupt... bug, or mesmer signets only? It's not in that description... but I think "Symbolic Celerity" is the problem 'cause of the attribute convertion... maybe someone can check this in 1vs1? --Kali Shin Shivara 00:27, 26 June 2010 (UTC)
- Are you aware that it only interrupts foes adjacent to the target? That probably won't be happening often in RA. Manifold 00:35, 26 June 2010 (UTC)
