- Haha, nice ;) I guess it was the only option to expect though. Would've enjoyed some Mursaat infested area or w/e ;D EPIC UPDATE SO FAR D: 2 quests<3.
- Definately. It seems that a set of gold weapons (named, Oppressor weapons, with the new White Mantle themed skins)and the green weapons that would otherwise dropped from the WiK mobs are purchasable from Weapon Artisans that appear in Lion's Arch Keep after completing the last quest. There are also reports that the WiK content 'ends' when you also complete the final quest, so take heed if you were planning on farming the Royal Gifts for miniatures. -- ᴥ GreyGhost (talk!) ᴥ 07:43, 9 July 2010 (UTC)

Wrong! You can exchange 10 Medals of Honor for either GOLD Oppressor's Weapons, or GREEN Commemorative Weapons(which are not the same as the War in Kryta GREENS). For example, the NEW GREEN DAGGERS(Commemorative Weapon) is called Alari's Double Blades, not Law and Order(WiK Green). Hence ANet provided us with brand new Gold Inscribable Oppressor Weapons as well as brand NEW Green Named Weapons(after their supposed owners).
- And what about the WiK content ending? Has that been verified? --Musha 08:48, 9 July 2010 (UTC)
- I finished it and turned in the quest. I still got Lawrence Crafton spawn as a random ally and White Mantle still appear outside the outposts. I still have today's bounty however, but the zone I was in wasn't the bounty zone. I'm not sure if the MIA people from the final battle can still spawn however. 114.78.8.119 12:33, 9 July 2010 (UTC)
SPOILERS[edit]
DON'T READ IF YOU ARE UNSPOILED.
Does anyone know if the Thackeray/Langmar story or the Evennia story have been followed up in this update? They are both mentioned after the final mission but are there any new quests or changes to the world to reflect this or are we back to waiting? 114.78.8.119 12:25, 9 July 2010 (UTC)
Possible follow-up quests:
- Find Lt. Thackeray and Langmar
- Find Evennia
- Track down rogue "insert name" White Mantle/Mursaat boss
Just some suggestions. What ya'll think? Either way I seriously doubt that there will be no more content. We might not be able to call it WiK, but there will almost assuredly be more content to bridge the gap between GW1 and 2. (Usaf1a8xx 13:26, 10 July 2010 (UTC))
- There's going to be more Guild Wars Beyond content. Since thackeray is essential for the GW2 storyline, I'm sure we'll get a quest to find him or a dialogue at the very least. --BO6B 21:45, 10 July 2010 (UTC)
Gwen[edit]
Did anyone else notice that Gwen's name is Vanguard Mesmer for this mission? I didn't see her turn up at any point but I thought that was weird. Maybe it's just to reflect the fact that she's supposed to be back in the Eye of the North? 114.78.8.119 12:26, 9 July 2010 (UTC)
- Gwen's supposed to be in the Eye of the North watching over the EV. I guess it makes sense for her to technically "not be" in the mission. --Riddle 18:19, 9 July 2010 (UTC)
How you get the weapons?[edit]
Who exhanges the medals for the new weapons? Ande most important: you are able to exchange them after it? I don't want to complete the last battle until I know if I will have access to the npc who exchanges the medals in later days. Lokheit 14:42, 9 July 2010 (UTC)
- The green and gold inscribable weapons are both available from collectors for 10 Medals of Honor both in the explorable area you are transported to after finishing the last quest, and in the Lion's Arch keep afterwards. So yes, you can finish the quest, and then grab you medals from storage and turn them in anytime. --Adul 16:26, 9 July 2010 (UTC)
- Nice, thanks for the info, I will end this war soon :) Lokheit 16:32, 9 July 2010 (UTC)
Lag[edit]
Nice lag during the last quest, I had 1000 to 2500 ping during the whole thing. Never experienced anything like it, not even during festivals. I hope this is due to a server issue introduced in this update and that it will be fixed in the next few days. Let me emphasize that the lag only happens during the quest The Battle for Lion's Arch and not in any other towns or explorable areas. --Adul 16:31, 9 July 2010 (UTC)
- I had almost no lagg throughout the whole thing, except one point where the screen was filled with jades. Other than that no problems ~Doktor
- With two human and 4 hero, almost no lag, but with 6 human, lag was upwards of 1200 and often 4k, rendering this mish impossible til Anet fixes the lag. Tried American, Polish, Korean, and Inter, and same story at every server. (Usaf1a8xx 20:15, 9 July 2010 (UTC))
- I don't know where you got your info but if i'm not mistaken the servers for Europe are located in Germany, and the US servers in Austin, Texas. --Qaletaqa Hania 00:57, 10 July 2010 (UTC)
- Lag seems better. Just did it with 4 human and 2 hero healers and no lag issues. (Usaf1a8xx 13:27, 10 July 2010 (UTC))
