Network error 244[edit]

- its the 2 factor authentification error (untrusted network). If u have gw2 installed login gw2, get the sms code and put it in and check the 'add as trusted network' box then just close gw2 because... well..gw2. Once thats done you should be able to login gw1 as 'normal'. Idk who thought requiring having gw2 installed to play gw1 was a good idea... add an authentification optikn to gw1 if you want 2 step guys, not half assed 6 steps. - Good, I was hoping it wasn't an early 2000s security attempt "this acct logged in from this IP, don't let another acct log in". This is affecting one acct, but not the other (which happens to be linked to GW2). Also, what happens if my local internet subnet changes? Needs ability to ignore. - if your external ip changes you will probably need to reauth via gw2. The non effected accnt you may never have signed up for the 2 step in gw2...idk 4 sure Durp da durp (talk) 01:28, 7 June 2018 (UTC)
- I haven't run GW2 since... maybe the 2nd week after its release? I never remember setting up any auth for IP based connectivity. "Network error 244" should NOT be a human fed error, put something descriptive in there, like, "reinstall GW2 and play it once for GW1 to ever work again")

IU reset[edit]
back to the default. Literally worked for hours on a custom layout :(
edit: also seems to not save IU layouts after exit/relaunch. Anyone else confirm?
- nope won't save layout :( this needs fixing so I can move stuff where it makes sense for me and not have to redo it every time. It also doesn't save keyboard layout stuff, that is very annoying.Durp da durp (talk) 01:18, 7 June 2018 (UTC)

Broken TexMod / uMod with recent update?[edit]
I've been having a spot of minor trouble with this update. The client seems to load, then close, and then load properly, which breaks TexMod/uMod's functionality entirely. I'm only using the Cartography Made Easy mod, and I'm a small bit annoyed. Anybody having the same issue with double-loading? --72.134.148.143 20:09, 7 June 2018 (UTC)
Been having the same problem but it has been going on since around March. I'm not sure if it has gotten worse with this update. I usually find that running a different copy of GW in the texmod select box can fix it.
Original poster here. I managed to fix the problem, for me at least. I keep two copies of the game for muling with a multi-launcher. TexMod apparently doesn't like this, so one copy had to go. Worked fine after that. Cayenne Fortner (talk) 22:55, 23 June 2018 (UTC)

Dye Preview panel broken?[edit]
The dye preview panel seems to be somewhat broken since the update. When rotating the model in the panel, everything works normally, but zooming in or out, or at least trying to, simply resets the zoom level to maximum zoom-out. Really annoying when trying to preview dye combinations. Anybody else having this issue?--Cayenne Fortner (talk) 21:42, 12 June 2018 (UTC)
