Feedback talk:User/The Slayer/All dyes have the same value

This is a nice suggestion, but as much as it seems nice, I think it may be best to have different levels of prices. However, these various colors could all be in sort of "stages" of pricing. For instance:

Inexpensive: Colors such as tan, gray, cyan, faded green, peach, etc.

Medium: Colors such as ruby red, sapphire blue, emerald green, navy blue, golden yellow, deep forest green, etc.

Expensive: Colors such as snow white, coal black, Royal indigo, bright gold, etc.

Obviously that is just my opinion, but I totally agree that black shouldn't be the most expensive color; at least not just black. If there were more variety in stages it would be a bit more realistic. After all, purple was a sign of royalty in the older times, and strong, vibrant colors as seen in the medium section were a bit valuable as well. -GreatWallStr 02:01, 2 March 2010 (UTC)

I too feel the strain of seeing people all look the same, and sometimes look awful (aesthetically) [Black gear, pieces of armor that just don't match but they wear it anyway just to show they have "money"] just because they want to wag their e-peen. I honestly feel like when you purchase armor, part of the purchase should be picking the armor's colors. 74.79.132.108 23:44, 24 April 2010 (UTC)

That's not always the case, though! I myself (and many people I know) could easily afford to dye all their characters armor black, yet choose not to. My monk's obsidian armor is actually dyed red, rather than black. (I know having obby isn't a good example, but I don't always wear obby on her tbh.) I only have three sets of armor dyed black across my account of 14 characters. Out of those three, one isn't even an elite set. Most of my characters have at least one set of elite armor, and I dye them whatever color I find aesthetically pleasing. Not all people fit the stereotype of "Black obby armor, chaos gloves, black BDS", really. I know a silver-caped prot who is literally rolling in plats, and I don't think any of his characters have black armor. You should get out more. =/ User Ryuu R.jpg Ryuu - Meow~ 23:49, 24 April 2010 (UTC)
Sorry, but districts 1-5 of Kamadan say otherwise. Not saying everyone does it, but the majority does, and that may as well mean everyone. 74.79.132.108 03:12, 25 April 2010 (UTC)
Black isn't popular because it's expensive; it's expensive because it's popular. Just saying. It's not really a "problem" (if you can call it that) that can be solved by making things the same price. --Kyoshi (Talk) User Kyoshi sig.png 03:36, 25 April 2010 (UTC)
