Guild History
In September 2006, four people - two from DVD Forums & two from Angel Sharks, decided they needed a new challenge. DVD Forums & Angel Sharks were rapidly filling up as more people joined their guild family. From this base a new guild called Greener Pastures was created. As a member of the DVDF alliance, all members of GP gain access to the alliance's forum, on which 56,000+ posts (as of 28th February '09) have been made by our members since the end of August, 2006. This forum also allows for an incredible depth of inter-guild friendships, beyond the standard AC chatter of a normal alliance.
The Guild
In Greener Pastures we have many members who put a large amount of time into PvE titles. Members of GP have prestigious titles such as "God Walking Amongst Mere Mortals", Legendary Vanquisher, and Incorrigible Ale-Hound. However, epic PvE achievements are not our primary aim, as GP prides itself on its relaxed atmosphere in which members of all abilities can chat, share stories, form teams or just have fun on an equal social footing.
Guild Rules
Guild rules are very basic and common sense, but include
Do not:
- Break any of the EULA rules set in place by NCSOFT/ANET.
- Use rude/abusive/foul/obscene language or swear at any time for any reason.
- Grief or harass other members and other players at any time or discuss illegal or offending topics, including any kind of racism or sexism.
- Attack or flame members of the alliance in public or on a public forum.
- Use offending or obscene names for their characters (members with character names in violation of that rule will get asked to delete the offending character).
- Use the AC for any trading related activity, including price checks.
- Insult the enemy team in PvP for any reason.
- Suddenly leaving groups while being in an mission or explorable area without good reason (“ragequitting”).
- Do anything else that would put the guild(s) or alliance into bad light.

Recruitment Policy
We only recruit new members who are 18 years or older, we have a few exceptions but these are mainly players who have been in our guild a long time or have family in our sister guilds. Our guild is mostly PvE-focused with occasional casual PvP. We don't accept random invites, most of our recruiting goes through referrals and the web page.
