The Guild of Driantis was founded October 21st, 2001 by a small group of family and friends that enjoyed role playing and story telling based in a medieval type setting via AOL and Yahoo messenger chat rooms. With the release of Guild Wars in April 2005, slowly we made the switch over from chat rooms to the MMORPG believing the scenery would be ideal for continuing our story lines. For many years we labeled the Guild of Driantis as a role playing guild, and some of us still do role play, but we shifted our interests in 2010.
Our guild continues to keep the friend and family type environment as we play the game and accept all players new or experienced in our guild. Our intentions are to have fun and enjoy the game. We work on a lot of PvE and some PvP. If we had more interest in the PvP world we would do more. There are no expectations from our guild. We don't EXPECT you to participate in events or even be online within a certain time period. We realize this is a game, there are other games and you have a life outside of the game.
