Our goal is to have a guild populated with active members who share the same goals and ideals. Heroes Etc... is designed to be a meeting place for Guild Wars gamers to meet, join together and play, and regale all that care to read with their tales of adventure.

We do not believe in a strictly defined hierarchal structure like many guilds. All guild members are considered equals, both in game and on the forums. The primary task of our officers is to serve the members, through the organization of guild activities, answering questions and most importantly, by overseeing the general orientation and philosophy of the guild to allow it's evolution while remaining true to our core philosophy and identity.

Heroes Etc... does not choose to discriminate against any type of gamer. Those that favor endless adventure throughout the explorable areas of Tyria, Cantha, Elona and beyond, those that wish to adventure their way through every mission in every expansion that eventually comes out, specialists who prefer PvP play will be welcomed, as well as those who never wish to step foot into the arena.

Competetive gaming is an integral part of Guild Wars, and something that many of our members enjoy. We aim for success in all of our matches, and we do take our PvP ventures seriously. Those who prefer not to play competetively are as welcome as those who wish only to play PvP, so long as their deeds and words are worthy of a Hero.

We aim to build a community. Communication is very important in any community, and we encourage members to both read and post in our message boards. We make use of Teamspeak to better enable communication within game, and have found it to be a great way to develop relationships between members. Heroes Etc... is first and foremost a community of friends, and to be a member of a community, one must be involved with the other members of that community in one way, shape, or form. Members who have taken the time to build relationships within our community have found them very rewarding. We hope to share that sense of community with all who would join us.
