LotA was formed by a group of mates who already used to play Diablo II together. Some of us joined one of the beta weekend in Guild Wars using a key promoted by the portal hosting our DII forum. That weekend was amazing! We all fell in love with GW and become impatient while waiting for its release. As soon as it came out we bought our copy frm retailers or online shops and started meeting all together to keep playing with the same good old boys, but in a brand new and exciting environment, discovering step by step a new huge and charming world. In a few days we set up ad decided the name of our guild, which would resamble somthing archaic and mythful. There was a couple of proposal, but we all agreed about what was the rightest name: Lords Of The Ages. Also it came out with a nice tag using the first letters of the 4 words. So the LotA guild was born! Since those early days a lot of time passed through and many things happened taking our guild to the current situation: We founded a guild forum; we bought the signet to build up our Guild Hall; we recruit further members (most of them still coming from the same DII forum we started out); we joined friendship with other guilds; we built up rivality with some else; we saw some of our members leaving to find another guild; we saw some of those coming back home (and fortunately we saw some else of them never come back again!); we joined into Allegiances when Factions was released; we even moved out to join almost entirely another guild (Ancient Destiny Weavers [ADW]); we entirely came back to our guild (kept alive with backup accounts) rising back from its ashes; we finally saw our last members leaving away or become inactive. Currently there is just 1 active member who keeps the guild alive and makes roars echoing over times.

All over times every member have always had the same right as the guild leader, regrdless of the guild ranks.

1) Respect for all guild and alliance members.
2) No intolerant behavior.
3) Help fellow guildies and alliance members as and where possible.
4) Foster a strong environment of friendship though participating in chat and guild/alliance activities.
