NICE has been around now for a little over 5 years. Our guild and alliance is based upon our creed of Respect, Honor, Integrity, Loyalty, Friendship, and Teamwork. NICE strives to run a guild with a family friendly environment and everyone is expected to abide by the guidelines! Our guidelines work very well for us. We maintain a fun and active website with a variety of forums for members to join in on; and have many events for both alliance and guild members to enjoy. We strive to work together to make the Guild Wars environment better for all in our alliance.

Perfectionists Cult Creed

Respect – Being considerate and courteous to others, and acknowledging that others may have different opinions, beliefs, and outlooks than your own. We want to ensure a comfortable, relaxed, easy-going, and light-hearted atmosphere.

Honor – Living true to your word, which includes maintaining guild standards agreed upon when becoming a part of NICE, and bringing attention to others in holding standards as well.

Integrity – Keeping personal and private information about yourself and others out of Guild and Alliance chat. Be true to your character.

Loyalty – Showing dedication and giving back to the Guild, whether offering to help others, making efforts to be available for Guild activities, participating on the forums on the website, providing suggestions for Guild activities, etc.

Friendship – Making efforts to get to know other members in the Guild to help create a close-knit Guild community, which includes welcoming and greeting other members, conversing and/or joking around in chat, encouraging others.

Teamwork – Helping out other members on quests or missions, offering others to join you. Encouraging others if things are tough or the quest or mission does not go as planned. Guild teams ROCK!

Recruitment

Do you feel as though you would fit in with a family friendly guild? There are three basic requirements before a person may be invited into the Guild:

1. They must agree to abide by the current Guild rules.
2. They must apply to the Guild website using a name similar to one of their in-game names. (This helps to prevent your registration from being deleted accidentally.) If a registration is deleted, then re-apply.
3. A mature and positive attitude. No inappropriate character names.

We like to have a NICE atmosphere, so we have the following Guild Rules:

• Members cannot be inactive for 2 consecutive months.
• Members must be willing to use our website.
  • If you are inactive for more than a month on the site you will be removed from the guild.
• Members are expected to respect all of your fellow guild and alliance members.
• Poor conduct will not be tolerated. This includes conduct in Outposts and communication programs. Activities that do not violate Arena Net’s User Agreement, but which convey a poor image of our Guild (and are therefore not allowed) include, but are not limited to:
  • Interfering with other players’ or Guilds’ activities and events.
  • Begging for gold or equipment in public or private chat channels.
  • Sexual comments or references to illicit behavior within Guild, Public or Alliance chats.
  • Spamming messages too often and/or in the wrong chat channels.
  • Intentionally leaving a group without warning the group members.
  • The use of foul and/or demeaning language. No communications, either in private or public chat, is allowed that uses language intended to harass, abuse, or degrade any other player(s).

• Public chat channels should be used for discussions that are appropriate for our younger players. Discussions of mature topics should be moved to a private chat channel.
• Members are required to move their discussions to the private chat channel if asked by a Guild or Alliance member.
• Guild members will not recruit members from other Guilds in the Alliance or cause problems within other Guilds.
• No use of “bots” is permitted.
• Buying gold is a violation of Arena Net policy and will not be tolerated.
